Today, tousled, with ice cream and happy (En/ Es)

These days I have been very busy, between doctors, housework and shopping of all kinds, because I am assisting my mother after an operation. So I am from one thing to the other; by the way the weather is not helping much because it is very hot around here and in the street it feels much worse. My day began visiting my mother in the place where she is resting, with her brother in the center of the city, where every day my daughter and I go to assist her in her personal hygiene, cures and so on, after that, having left her optimal and ready for the day, we went out to buy some necessary things for the home.

Like the litter for the cats, some beautiful collars for them (which were not included in our purchases) and other things that were needed at home. In the middle of that, already close to home, we decided to take a break in a nice ice cream shop near our house, overwhelmed by the heat and also with the anxiety of tasting our favorite ice creams. Arriving all at once, we approached the ice cream counter and ordered our favorites. We settled in with all our shopping bags ready to cool off with them.

While we savored our ice creams, we sat down to rest and to comment on how our day was going, which by the time, we felt we had done as many things; you can see in my main photo ha, ha, ha, ha, a little disheveled, tired but happy to be able to share a nice moment with my daughter; although this time she didn't want a picture because she was so sweaty ha, ha, ha, ha, you understand, as every teenager wants to offer her best appearance unlike me, I don't mind sharing my different stages of life with you and today I had to leave disheveled but happy with my ice cream.

The place is very nice and cozy, besides having an excellent service, it achieves its mission which is to sweeten and relax its customers, with a pleasant atmosphere and well arranged to share with family and friends or for anyone who just happens to be passing by and craves for a delicious ice cream. My daughter and I spent about half an hour in the place, which helped us to recharge our batteries and keep the heat away from us. It was definitely the highlight of our errands.

When we got home, we each took a well-deserved bath to continue with our housework. Putting on their new collars to our kitties and starting to tidy up a bit, which, in the midst of so many things to do and pending, we have not had time to do and attend to. There are days when everything is a hustle and bustle and this was one of them, but the good thing was that, in the midst of the back and forth, the stressful moments, we got some time to breathe in peace and share a nice ice cream, making a huge difference. At the end of the day, we said to ourselves without a doubt: We deserved it. That half hour of relaxation and smiles, blessed greetings, friends!

Por estos días he estado muy ocupada, entre médicos, labores del hogar y compras de toda índole, pues ando asistiendo a mi madre luego de una operación. Entonces estoy de una cosa a la otra; de paso el clima no ayuda mucho porque está haciendo mucho calor por estos lados y en la calle se siente mucho peor. Mi día comenzó visitando a mi madre en el lugar donde se encuentra de reposo, con su hermano en pleno centro de la ciudad, donde todos los días vamos mi hija y yo a asistirle en su aseo personal, curas y demás, luego de eso ya habiéndola dejado óptima y lista para el día, salimos a comprar algunas cosas necesarias para el hogar.

Como la arena para los gatos, unos collares hermosos para ellos (que no estaban incluidos en nuestras compras) y otras cosas que hacían falta en casa. En medio de eso, ya cerca de casa, decidimos hacer una pausa en una linda heladería que queda cerca de casa, abrumadas por el calor y también con la ansiedad de probar nuestros helados preferidos. Al llegar de una vez, nos acercamos al mostrador de los helados y pedimos nuestros preferidos. Nos acomodamos con todas nuestras bolsas de compras dispuestas a refrescarnos con ellos.

Mientras nos saboreamos los helados, nos sentamos a descansar y a comentar como iba transcurriendo nuestro día, que ya para la hora, sentíamos que habíamos hecho como muchas cosas; se puede ver en mi foto principal ja, ja, ja, algo despeinada, cansada pero contenta de poder compartir un momento agradable con mi hija; aunque esta vez ella no quiso foto por lo sudada que estaba ja, ja, ja, se entiende, como toda adolescente quiere ofrecer su mejor apariencia a diferencia de mí, que no me importa compartir mis diferentes etapas de vida con ustedes y hoy me toco salir despeinada pero feliz con mi helado.

El lugar es muy lindo y acogedor, aparte de tener una excelente atención, logra su cometido que es endulzar y relajar a sus clientes, con un ambiente agradable y bien dispuesto para compartir con familiares y amigos o para cualquiera que simplemente vaya pasando y se le antoje un rico helado. Mi hija y yo estuvimos cerca de media hora en el lugar, que nos sirvió para recargar energías y alejar el calor de nosotras. Fue lo mejor de nuestras diligencias definitivamente.

Al llegar a casa, nos dimos cada una un merecido baño para continuar con nuestras labores domésticas. Colocarle sus nuevos collares a nuestros mininos y empezar a ordenar un poco, que, en medio de tantas cosas por hacer y pendientes, no hemos tenido tiempo de realizar y atender. Hay días en que todo es un revuelo y este fue uno de ellos, pero lo bueno fue que, en medio del ir y venir, de los momentos estresantes, conseguimos un tiempo para respirar en paz y compartir un rico helado, haciendo una enorme diferencia. Al final del día, nos dijimos sin dudas: Nos lo merecíamos. Esa media hora de relax y sonrisas, saludos bendecidos, amigos!
