They say Mike had a skin disease. He would get white spots. So, in the 1980's, he would paint his skin black to cover the white spots. But then there were so many white spots and it was easier to cover up the black because he was turning white from his disease. There are many books and articles written about this the past 40 years. I do not know if Mike is dead. Maybe he is dead. But I don't know.
