Hello fellow cyclist how are you doing, how you catching up with the weekends, its all good here from my end, recently we've got more and more folks delving into cycling world, before now it wasn't so, today while heading to the cycling shop i drove past several other cyclist and i'm like wow, i felt some how happy about it, since the situation with the Nigerian economy that resulted in price hike of pms amd other petroleum product, this has made cost of paying for public bus to be on the high side, so therefore those working far distance now opt to buy bicycles instead, to save them Cost on T-Fare.
Alright lets talk about jewel, i have scheduled monthly maintainance for her, mostly second week of every months, but its being over two months now since i last run a servicing on her, such that every part of her needs replacement, warn-out breaks, both side, the front and rear wheels acting weird, awkward sound coming from the back wheel, and she really looked un kept this unlike me, i wonder how come i'm this lazy.😄.
Here is my regular spot and i have my personal serviceman, there is a reason for that too, from the first day i bought her, i brought her here for the first time servicing bought other necessary fittings on her, so from then on, i don't allow any other person lay a hand on her, because i don't trust them before they spoil more things than normal.
Unfortunately today my personal service guy wasn't around he had travelled, when i enquire, well i spotted this young dude, from my observation he is good so i told him to handle the servicing, he had once worked with my service guy so i know he's good to handle jewel with care,
This guy handled the wheel alignment cause of the awkward sound i was getting from the rear wheel, apart from the boss he's the only one who could do it, he told me i had to muy extra spoke cause some of them were bad amd need replacement, bought new boris for the front and rear wheel replacement, and for the main engine pedalling...
The young guy changed the rear and front breaks, after the wheel alignment, they both cause a thousand buks, and he did a perfect job on it, no complains when i tested it was very okay, and i kinda liked him cause he is hard working and i also decided to Tipped him extra when i was done...
