Hola chic@s, espero que se encuentren muy bien.
El día de hoy fue un poco estresante, había agendado una cita con el mecánico para reemplazar unas piezas y revisar la llanta trasera ya que el freno no estaba óptimo.
Al llegar estaba terminando con la cita previa a la mía y procedió a buscar las piezas que iba a reemplazar, el piñón (cassette) y la cadena, creo que a todos nos pasa que vamos al mecánico con la esperanza de que solo sea algo mínimo y que no tome tanto tiempo, bueno, no siempre es así 😔.
Cuando retiró el piñón y sacó el eje trasero para ver si era que el movimiento de la rueda se debía a un rodamiento dañado se encontró con el eje doblado 🥴, lo cambió y procedió a reemplazar el cassette y la cadena, lo ideal es reemplazar el sistema completo, cadena cassette y plato, pero, el plato aún no tiene 6 meses de uso, por lo que no tiene mucho desgaste y decidí seguir usándolo.
A veces estamos muy urgidos y necesitamos resolver, entonces por qué el plato tiene menos de 6 meses y estoy cambiando la cadena y el cassette, bueno, necesitaba que estuviera operativa y le cambié el sistema transmisión, pero, no tenían los componentes que necesitaba e hicimos un injerto, un cassette de 8 velocidades y una pata de cambio de 7, ahora se le colocó el cassette de 7 velocidades y olvidé por completo que debía alinear la llanta en función al nuevo cassette 😬.
Fui con la idea de solo cambiar unas piezas y salir rápido y terminé saliendo con otra cita para alinear la llanta, pues no tenía tiempo para quedarme a esperar que lo hicieran 😔.
El día lunes me toca nuevamente cita para darle los ultimos toques y así rodará sin problemas ❤️.

Today was a little stressful, I had scheduled an appointment with the mechanic to replace some parts and check the rear tire since the brake was not optimal.
When I arrived he was finishing with the appointment prior to mine and proceeded to look for the parts he was going to replace, the sprocket (cassette) and the chain, I think it happens to all of us that we go to the mechanic hoping that it will only be something minimal and that it won't take so long, well, it's not always like that 😔.
When he removed the sprocket and took out the rear axle to see if it was that the movement of the wheel was due to a damaged bearing he found the axle bent 🥴, he changed it and proceeded to replace the cassette and chain, the ideal is to replace the entire system, chain cassette and chainring, but, the chainring has not yet 6 months of use, so it does not have much wear and I decided to continue using it.
Sometimes we are very urgent and need to solve, so why the chainring has less than 6 months and I am changing the chain and cassette, well, I needed it to be operational and I changed the drivetrain, but, they did not have the components I needed and we did a graft, an 8 speed cassette and a 7 speed derailleur leg, now the 7 speed cassette was fitted and I completely forgot that I should align the rim according to the new cassette 😬.
I went with the idea of just changing some parts and leave quickly and ended up leaving with another appointment to align the tire, because I had no time to stay and wait for them to do it 😔.
On Monday I have another appointment to give it the final touches and so it will roll smoothly ❤️.
