RE: Reviewing 2022 resolutions: share with me how far you have gone!

At the beginning of 2022, I made some specific plans and budgets:

  1. Getting a new apartment of My own, since I was squatting with a Freind.
  2. Improving my tailoring skills in order to work for higher brands.
  3. Getting to know many fashion designers and fashion inclined people. I thought that this move will boost my career.
  4. I intended to save at least 500,000 naira before the end of 2022
  5. I also made a resolution to be financially disciplined and spend less on unnecessary wants.
  6. I made a firm resolve to reduce my circle of unnecessary or toxic friends and focus more on improving my mental health.
  7. Helping my younger sister finish her skill acquisition scheme and setting Her shop up
  8. Purchasing a laptop for my blogging activities
  9. Traveling to Ghana for a vacation.

Well, I will have to say that among these resolutions and goals, I have gone far.

I have accomplished numbers 1, 2 and 3 by God's grace. It was not just easy. It required lots of hard work and deprivations.
I am still looking at how I will accomplish number 4. Although lots of expenses are coming along.
I definitely accomplished number 5, and that is what has definitely kept me going. Being financially disciplined helped me save more.

Number 6 wasn't hard for me. I cut off lots of ties with some toxic people, especially on social media. I even lost one of my Facebook account and that helped to forget about some unnecessary friends.

I have accomplished number 7. My sister is now working on her own. I helped her buy working apparatus and a workplace immediately after she finished acquiring the tailoring skill.

From what I am seeing, I will accomplish number 8 by next week or in two weeks time. I have seen where I will purchase laptop computer at a cheaper rate. The funds remains small to be completed.

Number 9?... Not sure I'll accomplish that this year. Maybe it will be rolled over next year plans. I think it wasn't really a Ned this year.

Thanks for making me share this. It reminded me of a lot.
