I took my kids out into the woods for a snowshoe hike today. The weather was perfect: 34 degrees and overcast. There was a good snow pack on the trail, with a little fresh powder on top. It was the first time we had been out this year, so we only did a couple miles, but it felt good to get out there.
Yes, I'm wearing my snow shoes on the wrong feet. I find it's easier to not get them caught up on each other when they point outward at the toes.
