The security audit of all smart contract relating to staking module on the EasyFi protocol was recently conducted and completed successfully. This was an initial and necessary step towards ensuring a glitch-free staking programs on the EasyFi protocol.
It would be recalled that Easyfi network appointed Halborn as its security auditor/advisor a while ago following major vulnerabilities in its smart contracts that led to significant loss of funds. The choice of Halborn Security stemmed from their wealth of experience in conducting security audits on a vast number of blockchain protocols and their use of cryptographic standards as well as industry’s best practices in rendering their services.

Halborn Security is a top-rated cybersecurity firm whose major clienteles are blockchain companies. The partnership with Halborn Security has formally made them the official auditor and security advisor of EasyFi. This will ensure that a holistic security check is carried out on EasyFi protocol on all the platform it is found, namely Ethereum, Binance Smart Chain, and Polygon.
As part of its measures to ensure total total reinstatement of Easyfi protocol.and ensure a seamless and risk free operations,
Halborn's scope of duties has been mapped out to include the following.
Seeking out potential security risks in the smart contract which may arise from foreign bodies such as inter-contract function, economic attack, or oracle attack.

Ascertaining that every function on the smart contract relating to the staking module is working as it should.
Making available a comprehensive review and report on the security audit conducted at the end of the procedure.
Ensuring that every smart contract on the EasyFi network is safe to use by community members.
Giving adequate and useful recommendations to correct or address any risk that may come up at the end of the audit, etc.

Hence, the recent audit of Easyfi staking contracts was a thorough one. The audit went as far as thoroughly checking the structures of the code and data upon which the contracts are built, the quality of the implementation method adopted by Easyfi, as well as testing the smart contracts for the staking/farming module to detect any errors or discrepancies in the system.
The Halborn team employed both manual and automated security testing methods to ensure that no stone was left unturned in the bid to uncovering any error or vulnerability in the system. A few risk factors were detected in the process and promptly fixed.

This exercise is not a one-off activity, rather, it will be a continuous event to ensure that future problems do not arise, users’ funds are completely secured and that users are fully satisfied with the services rendered by EasyFi.
By carrying out this audit on her protocol, EasyFi is ensuring that the credibility of her protocol remains intact and that the privacy and safety of users on the protocol are guaranteed.
