Splinterlands community engagement Challenge : How to Earn Glints and its Usage

Glint! Glint!! Glint!!!

Glint was introduced to Splinterlands a few months ago and it has become a part of the game which is very important to players.

Let us talk about its usage.

Glint can be used to purchase energy which in turn can be used to play rank battles and earn juicy sps.

It can also be used in the shop, Just click on Reward and you will be transported to Gwen's glint shop where there are many uses for Glint.

We have the Rarity draws and Loot chests in the shop and before I was into loot chests especially the ultimate and major chests because they give me the energy to play. Still, it got to the extent that I started seeing max reward cards from the opponent. No one told me before I diversified and started using most of my glints in the rarity draws to pull as many reward cards as possible and am progressing. In a few months, I should have a max deck of the new reward cards, though emp-warden is gradually becoming a gold deck so I hope I can get the reward in gold maxed too.

Glints can also be used to purchase Potions, the alchemy[ for gold cards], and legendary potions, increasing the chance of opening gold and legendary cards respectively during pack opening.

What is the fun in writing about the usage of Glints without mentioning how to earn it!

Glints can be earned from winning ranked battles but there are ways to increase the amount of glint earned which are also known as Boost Modifiers

One of the factors that determine the glint earned is the number of sps staked in your account, another factor is the type of cards you used, Alpha set and gold cards help to boost the glint so if you use more gold cards or alpha, you will see a significant boost in your glint earnings.

There are others like the land bonus percentage, this is only for those with land titles.

In case you are running short of Glint and you need it so badly, there is one more way I know you can get them, we all know they can't be purchased or transferred so the only way is by burning those soulbound reward cards for it, once you have your desired reward card either gold or normal foil in max, I don't think you need the spares if you are not planning to unbind, so you can as well burn them, earn some glints, play to win more sps....
