Over the years to the film market as well as television have come any number of films and series that show us a future in which humanity will live in outer space, either in ships, space stations, populating other planets or their asteroids, the main reason for this migration into space is the deterioration of our planet and / or overpopulation.
These movies show what in theory would be possible in space, but also in others they show us that living in outer space will not be available to the entire population, for example, in Elysium the argument is that the elites live in an advanced space station, which has its own atmosphere and has clean air, water and everything necessary to live safely, while the rest of the inhabitants of the earth, the poor, continue on the planet earth which is so polluted and overpopulated to the point of remarkable unhealthiness, diseases, health problems and genetic diseases, not to mention crime, insecurity and a lot of garbage everywhere.

In other movies like “After Earth”, humans left the planet due to an environmental cataclysm and resettle elsewhere and so we see that the common denominator in most of these movies is an earth devastated by pollution and all that climate change has brought.
So as I see it, and I'm not just talking about the movies but the real treatment that is evident we give to our planet, which is deteriorating more every day and the possibility of living in outer space, whether in a base, space stations or on another planet, if it exists, because it may already be possible and many do not know it, will depend on the possibility that first those who finance these projects want to give access to the masses and secondly, I do not think we deserve it.

The reason why I say that we do not deserve it, and I am talking about humanity in general, is because it seems that wherever the human being goes, destruction pursues him, since sadly not all of us are committed, at least with the minimum to contribute to the care of the environment.
So I do not think that if there are advances that would allow humans to live in outer space we will ever achieve a real harmony with the environment around us, since it is demonstrated that we have not wanted to take care of the planet we inhabit and if we get to another will suffer the same fate at the hands of those who arrive there.

In summary, if the technology or technologies already exist that would allow human beings to inhabit outer space in one way or another, first I believe that only some of them could or would be able to go to those places, whether they are station bases or some other planet or asteroid of a planet and second I do not believe that human beings deserve to go to live on another planet with sustainable ecosystems, if there are any, since they have not focused on taking care of their own.

A lo largo de los años al mercado cinematográfico así como a la televisión han llegado cualquier cantidad de películas y series que nos muestran un futuro en el que la humanidad vivirá en el espacio exterior, ya sea en naves, estaciones espaciales, poblando otros planetas o los asteroides de estos, el motivo principal de esta migración al espacio es el deterioro de nuestro planeta y/o la sobre población.
Estas películas muestran lo que en teoría sería posible en el espacio, pero también en otras nos muestran que el vivir en el espacio exterior no estará al alcance de toda la población, por ejemplo, en Elysium el argumento es que las élites viven en una estación espacial avanzada, que tiene su propia atmósfera y cuenta con aire limpio, agua y todo lo necesario para vivir en forma segura, saludable y confortable, mientras el resto de los habitantes de la tierra, los pobres continúan en el planeta tierra el cual está tan contaminado y sobre poblado al punto de una insalubridad notable, además enfermedades, problemas de salud y enfermedades genéticas, sin olvidar la delincuencia, inseguridad y un montón de basura por todas partes.
En otras películas como “Después de la tierra”, los humanos abandonaron el planeta debido a un cataclismo ambiental y se reinstalan en otro lugar y así vemos que el común denominador en la mayoría de estas películas es una tierra devastada por la contaminación y todo lo que ha traído el cambio climático.
Entonces como yo lo veo, y no hablo solo de las películas sino del trato real que es evidente le damos a nuestro planeta, el cual cada día se deteriora más y la posibilidad de vivir en el espacio exterior, sea en una base, estaciones espaciales o en otro planeta, de existir, porque puede ser que ya sea posible y muchos lo desconocemos, dependerá de la posibilidad de que primero quienes financien esos proyectos deseen dar el acceso a las masas y segundo, no creo que lo merezcamos.
La razón por la que digo que no lo merecemos, y hablo de la humanidad en general, es porque parece que a donde va el ser humano lo persigue la destrucción, ya que tristemente no todos estamos comprometidos, al menos con lo mínimo para contribuir al cuidado del medio ambiente.
Por lo que no creo que de existir los avances que le permitieran al ser humano vivir en el espacio exterior logremos tener en algún momento una armonía real con el entorno que nos rodea, ya que, está demostrado que no hemos querido cuidar el planeta en el que habitamos y de llegar a otro sufrirá el mismo destino en manos de quienes allí lleguen.
En resumen, de existir ya la o las tecnologías que permita a los seres humanos de una u otra manera habitar en el espacio exterior, primero creo que solo algunas podrían o estarían en posibilidad de ir a esos lugares, sean bases estaciones o algún otro planeta o asteroide de un planeta y segundo no creo que el ser humano merezca ir a vivir en otro planeta con ecosistemas sustentables, si los hay, ya que no se ha enfocado en cuidar el propio.
