Mickey Gall has surprisingly been fighting in the UFC for nearly six years now. I remember when he first joined the UFC people didn't really know what to make of him since he fought CM Punk in just his second fight with the promotion. People wondered if he was legit if the promotion set him up with a random WWE entertainer.
Mickey Gall has since proven he is a legit athlete committed to the sport. He is not necessarily like an elite fighter by any means, but he is for sure a respectable one and he's still got a long career ahead of him.
Mickey Gall competes in the UFC's Welterweight division and in nearly six years of fighting there, he is 6-3. Within the past couple of years though he's been about a .500 fighter. In my opinion, Gall could be a really good fighter eventually if he keeps trying to improve.
Gall is a good athlete and he can grapple with nearly anyone. He has really good size for the Division as well, standing at 6'2. He is still a young guy, not even 30 yet. I believe with more experience he could become a problem in the division. He needs some better instincts and savviness, It could be a few years down the line, but I think he could be good. I don't think I would have said that about Mickey a few years ago. He looked sort of lost and just off as a fighter at first, but I can see improvements. I get the vibe he does want to be good, and sometimes that's just what a fighter needs.
I'm intrigued to see how his career unfolds!
