This is the title of one of the book that we read in my primary school. It is a book filled with knowledge and wisdom. It's good to train up the younger one with such good qualities. No wonder, school makes it compulsory for us to read. Let me share with you the story and it's significance.
John have a lovely families with two wives, Nkechi and Chinyere. He loves them very well and provide adequately for them and their kids. There are five number of children, he have from them. Nkechi had four, most seniors while Chinyere have only one and still small.
Nkechi vowed that her children will be successful as she thought of money as main sign of richness and God's grace. They start and explores many great opportunities and fortune form the money making ventures. They entertain no fear and strive to be rich.
Chinyere on the other hand, spent a lot of time with her kid. She homeschooled in order to instill good morals to him. Sam grew up with fear of God and blessings. He pursue greatness over financial gains but was challenged as things were not flourishing like his half-siblings.
Nkechi and her sons have great things in life. Their cars are numerous and her shops flourishes. She pledged huge amount of money in their church services and everyone worship them without knowing their sources of wealth.
On other hands, Chinyere and Sam hold high principle but struggles to feed. They hardly wear good clothes and accessories. Not that they does not like good food, wine and other goodies but they prefer to be alive and hopeful for the best. Sam is a cab driver and treat everyone with kindness no matter how they treat him back.
One day, Nkechi was caught with hard drugs as she was a peddling but use provisions shop as a decoy but a senior drug baron. One of their deal expose their cartel and they were arrested. That how be their shady business, many people wondered. Her sons to maintain the flamboyant lifestyle adopted, started to sell their properties that government did not confiscated as Nkechi's drug trial continue. They become poor and unbearable life hit them hard because they gave it a chance.
However, Sam keep up the good work till one day. A man forget his bag in his cab. Sam noticed that and look for the man. The man just came back from aboard. He thank Sam after noticing that his luggage are still in tact. He praised him of good moral as huge some of money in that bag. He promised to lift him and mother out of penurious life and give them the best.

Sam now is a medical doctor with great training and potentials while her mother enjoys good things of life.
LESSON LEARNED FROM THE STORY
Honesty really pays. Although it might be delayed but can't be denied. Sam was blessed because of this great quality while Nkechi and her kids suffers due to their wickedness and dishonest gains.
We should do good and wait for God's blessings.
