Lessons From Africa’s Richest Man On My Talk Show

Hello guys, Welcome to to today’s edition of Nhaji’s talk show. The purpose of this show is to reach out to as many people as we can from diverse backgrounds to share with us their experiences in various fields of life. At times, we need to learn a thing or two from people with experience so we can know what we are getting into before we find ourselves wanting.

Last week, we had an inspiring session with Barack Hussein Obama, former president of the United States of America. He shared with us his story, his experiences and also advised the youth of today to do better. Today, we have with us a Nigerian business man and industrialist who doubles as the richest Black man. And he is no other than, Aliko Dangote -Founder and CEO of Dangote group. Let’s give him a round of applause as he takes his seat.

You’re welcome Mr Dangote and it’s a pleasure having you on my show today. I personally recommended you for this weeks show because as an African and also a billionaire, you inspire almost every youth in Africa with the work that you do. Today, I just have a few questions for you. It’s a lot actually but if I know you’ll do just fine.😅

My first question is, what inspires you to get out of bed everyday to do the amazing things you do. I read that you work 12 hours everyday. For someone’s who’s this rich, I was expecting you to work about 4 to 5 hours a day of which about 3 hours of that would be remote. Please share with us, who knows ,someone out there will also be inspired.

Next question, why entrepreneurship? As an entrepreneur I know how the game is. We are always out there taking the risk to make the world a better place. Every entrepreneur has a different story and we would like to hear yours. What advice would you give to all entrepreneurs and people looking to venture into business.

To my last question, how are you able to balance your work life with your personal life. For a billionaire and a family man like you, I’d like to assume you have a lot to attend to with each passing day. How are you able to juggle you 12 hours of working and still make time for your family back at home? Do you find it difficult, do you sometimes feel overwhelmed with everything that’s going on ? Talk to us.

Thank you very much Mr Dangote for accepting to be on my show. It was great having you on this show.
I have personally learnt a lot from you and I have a lot to take home and ponder on from today’s interview. Before we end, please give your final words to everyone out there. This is more like a parting gift to us all so guys, stay tuned and see you all next week, same time, same place as always. Thank you!
