HiveGhana WE-19 -| My Favourite Author

The story reading spirit that young teenagers in secondary school possess is interesting. It was not an exceptional thing but I had this particular author that I got stuck in his work once I got hold of his books. Because of the high suspension his stories carry, I had to make research to know more about this my favorite author.

The first James's novel that opened me to other of his works

James Hadley Chase is a British writer known for his novels. He writes on romance, crime and thrillers. This man's novels go deeper into the human aspects. He has his way of bringing his stories to life by bringing in intriguing plots, unexpected twists, well developed characters and other elements of fiction.

One of his stories I love so much is "The Way the Cookies Crumbles" . I remember this story repeatedly because of how captivating it was. His story has a way of keeping readers on the edge of their seat. He has this style of introducing characters with depth and complexity each unfolding the secrets that adds a layer to the story. His dialogue is witty, one that comes with humor. His ability makes readers reflect on their own understanding of what is right and wrong.

In "The Way the Cookies Crumbles" every line leaves a reader to guess what the next line of action would be. He's one author that has left an unremovable mark on all genres. He's one author I would highly recommend for a lover of crime novels. The list of his novels are limitless. Below are the few ones I have read and some still in my whitelist.

"The Way the Cookies Crumbles"

"You are Death without Money"

"Cade"

"The World is in my Pocket"

"No Orchids for Miss Blandish"

" The Whiff of Money"

"The Fast Buck"
