MY FAVORITE MOVIE

I'm a movie lover, even though I don't have time to watch movies nowadays. I currently have a long list of movies I have scheduled to watch when I have time, even though I know full well I wouldn't have the time πŸ˜‚. If you follow my fiction stories you will notice I love action, science-fic, mystical, historical, and magical genres. I'm mostly captivated by how the storyline in these genres are even created, and nowadays I find myself creating my own fictions of them.

I have also watched quite a lot of movies, but my favorite of them all is VIKINGS which tells the story of Ragnar Lothbrok an ordinary man who raised to fame because of his excellent war strategy skills. What got me attracted to the movie in 2019 was how he first dared to sail the Norway Sea, something no one in his community had ever thought about. At a point he was seen as a god, some called him a demi-god saying he came from the lineage of Odin who was the god of war.

Before I found the series, My best was Game Of Thrones, I loved it so much that after it ended, I was searching for something similar when I came across VIKINGS. Apart from the storyline and all, the movie came with a lot of life lessons and showed how a person could rise in the ranks and still fall if they lack discipline. It also showed that no matter what the prophecies spoke about the future of a person, the person could end up dying without attempting to achieve it.

There were a lot of tragic experiences in the movie starting with the death of Ragnar Lothbrok himself, followed by the death of his supposed successor BJORN IRONSIDE. I call their death tragic but thrilling because they showed that no man is invisible. It was intriguing how the writer built the character of Ragnar and Bjorn to be seen even to the views as demi-gods, only to show at the end of the day that they are mere men. Another character that was intriguing for me was the character IVAR THE BONELESS (hated but intriguing personality). I call him the true son of his father Ragnar Lothbrok because even though he was a cripple, his War strategy skills couldn't be matched by even his father. For the purpose of those that have not watched the movie, I will not reveal more than these highlights so that if you wish, you can check it out yourself. I don't like spoilers, and I wouldn't want to be one too😜
