Hi lovelies!
It feels like eternity since I got the chance to engage in the ever -captivating community prompts. As I have gotten the wonderful opportunity to participate, I won't loose the precious moment.
Let's dive right into it!!!!

My keen interest is in the distance relationship prompt. I always try to grap unto the opportunity to share my views on love matters. I'm no love expect but love matters.

Bonding
There's a difference between knowing someone and feeling connected to them. Constantly having physical encounters, going on dates, learning about each's strength and weaknesses whereas discovering their attractiveness, helps to connect couples in fascinating ways.

Learning each others love language
Love sounds so simple yet its language is complicated. Each individual uniquely has a way of expressing thier love and there's no better way to discover that than being closer to your partner.

Hanging out
I love this part the most! I am not limiting hangout to only dates. You get to be in each other's company and enjoy the love that holds you together. It could be indoors where you get to binge watch movies, play games or whatever.
It could also be outdoor where you go for strolls hand in hand, go to the movies, dinner dates, beach walks, among others. This is mostly doable when you are closer to each other.

Benefits of long distance relationship
Strengthens coping mechanism for the future of the relationship.
When partners are apart, the relationship is put to a test whether it can withstand the distance as a barrier or not. When both partners have built a stronger foundation for the relationship, they learn to adapt and avoid all possible threats that comes with distance.

Time for reflection
I am not married therefore I can't say same for married couple. However, from an unmarried individual's point, when both of you are separated either by work or anything that creates distance, you get the time to reflect on the love you share if truly the love is strong enough to make you both take the next step to seal the relationship, should it come to it. Trust is also put to a test here.

The disadvantages of distance relationship could be, loneliness , cheating , jealousy, misinterpretation, lack of personal touch and a host more of those.

Question is, do I stand for or against long distance relationship?
Answer is, I can do long distance relationship. It takes two to make it work in this case. If my partner and I make it an intentional effort to overcome the barriers of long distance relationship , why not.

Open communication, trust, and faithfulness will be the backbone of such a relationship.
