We were in Kočevje MTB Center again for the weekend. The plan for this Sunday was to run early and fairly long, then go uphill with the bike and rest the rest of the day. The plan was carried out 100%. Here is the first part, the run.
It was all tarmac roads to Kočevje and then some asphalt side roads, then even trails and crossing the corn field, and asphalt again on a return. Mostly flat with some stopping for taking photos.
The morning was misty with a promise of a sunny day when the fog clears out. So the panoramas we a bit different with a grey area taking place of the horizon.

A beautiful trail through a magnificent pine forest.
First look at the lake.
Did you notice the theme? Green and brown and grey it was.
Yet, when I returned to the park, there was blue too. Along with the shadows. Sun was here, finally.
The run was lovely, almost 16 K long. I made a discovery along the way that merits its own post.
