Adele “30” review 2/3
Continuando con el review de este álbum tan genial, que dudo que a alguien le haya pasado desapercibido, para mi esta segunda parte del álbum se siente con mas esperanza, tanto para con ella, como para con el mundo y el amor, en sus letras siento que mira y se siente de una manera, no necesariamente feliz, pero si mas optimista sobre lo que le ocurrió, le esta ocurriendo y le puede ocurrir en su vida, sin abandonar la nostalgia de lo que fue, olvidar que aún sigue en el presente y que tiene que ir a un futuro.
6- Can I get it

En Can I get it Adele se vuelve a ir con el productor pop mas importante y exitoso de todos nuestros tiempos, Max Martin, creando así una canción bastante fresca para lo que podemos sentir que Adele nos entregarían, el resultado es bastante satisfactorio pues Adele encuentra la manera de hacerlo suyo.
Adele nos cuenta como quiere y para ella es lo mejor estar en una relación de verdad, donde si pueda ver algo algo mas que relaciones superficiales, Adele en entrevistas ha relatado que mientras veía a sus amigos involucrarse en relaciones donde todo era superficial y no pasaba de ser algo de una sola noche ella no prefiere eso, pues lo considera un circulo vicioso que te quita mas de ti que lo que te puede dar.
Explícitamente nos dice como no puede hacer que el corazón de otra persona que solo quiere algo fácil y rápido su hogar, como el amor de esa otra persona no la puede hacer libre aunque ella haya prometido amarle hasta el final en las buenas y en las malas, pero que su deseo es que solo sea de ella, algo real, algo duradero.
7- I Drink Wine

Este es confirmado como uno d ellos siguientes singles del álbum puesto que ya cuenta con video el cual dele describe como el mas chistoso, es algo que realmente me emociona pues es una de mis canciones favoritas del álbum y que desde la primera vez que la escuché en su concierto One Night Only sentí una conexión especial con la canción, espero todos la puedan obtener también pues es una canción que llega a lo mas profundo y unido a la gran producción (y no me refiero a que sea ostentosa o particularmente ruidosa) logra captar todo el sentimiento y la vibra que Adele ha ido manejando durante todo el álbum hasta el momento.
Esta canción esta llena de vibras góspel, pero sin perder la esencia de Adele lo cual es algo que agradezco muchísimo, en ella nos cuenta y nos expresa como el amor completo, uno donde podamos expresarnos completamente sin temer es lo que le pide a la persona a la que le canta, que pierda su ego y la intención de ser alguien mas cuando ella simplemente lo que quiere es amar, a su máxima expresión.
Adele se pregunta así mismo porqué sigue girando en la opinión y acciones que la gente espera de ella, cuando es algo que obviamente no quiere y no necesita, le deja en claro a la persona que ama que ella lo ha intentado, ha llorado y lo ama.
Habla sobre los cambios que se pueden dar en una relación cuando nosotros no queremos hacerlo, cambios personales que nos alejan de ser quien verdaderamente somos y queremos ser. Ella quiere librarse de todas las ataduras y poder amar al máximo, porque, aunque otros quieran algo de ella, la persona a la que ama solo la quiere a ella, tal y como es.
8- All Night Parking

Esta es la primera colaboración de Adele en toda su carrera, siendo un sampleo de una canción muy famosa y antigua de Errol Garner la cual lleva el mismo nombre.
En esta canción Adele nos describe como pudo encontrar el amor por un tiempo luego de que tuvo su separación. Al principio esta canción no me gustó mucho pero es porque simplemente es de ese tipo de canciones a las que nos debemos acostumbrar, y no por que sea mala si no que ya que estamos acostumbrados a ciertos estilos de producción que encontramos en la actualidad este estilo vintage de la canción nos puede sonar un poco fuera de contexto, pero en realidad es una gran canción con un beat que atrae bastante y le da una gran suavidad al maratón de emociones que hemos venido afrontando al escuchar sus emociones en este álbum.
Adele habla de una relación a distancia, sobre pensar en la persona amada en todo momento incluso al nivel de solo querer llegar a casa para poder soñar con ella. Nos cuenta que normalmente ella esta genial estando sola pero que cada vez que recibe un texto de esa persona lo que quiere es tomar el primer vuelo a casa para soñar que esta con esa persona.
9- Woman Like Me

En esta canción Adele toma un giro acústico, pero a diferencia de Can I Get It, en esta es un giro acústico bastante oscuro, donde solo resalta su voz aparte de la guitarra de fondo, para luego abrirle lentamente la puerta a una producción sutil pero que hace un excelente match.
Adele va directamente a la garganta de su ex, directamente diciéndole lo difícil que seria para él conservar una mujer como ella, sabiendo de su valor Adele rechaza lo inseguro que su ex es, además de ser perezoso y poco ambicioso, lo que cual lo hacia a él sentir pequeño, aunque solo viniera de él sentirse así por su complejo de inferioridad, lo cual nada tenia que ver con ella y por eso algún otro otro tendrá y se merecerá el amor que ella tuvo por él.
Describe a su ex pareja como un hombre complaciente y poco consistente, siendo esto segundo algo importante para poder mantener a una mujer como ella, porque ella no quiere a un hombre perezoso.
Al igual que la canción predecesora no me sentí conectado con esta canción, pero a medida que la fui escuchando y prestando más atención a las letras y a los muy bien logrados arreglos en la producción pude confirmar que es una canción excelente y con una letra bastante directa y sin ningún tipo de tapaduras, algo que ha caracterizado a dele durante toda su carrera.
10- Hold On

Adele esta cansada de luchar y de seguir intentando, para mi esta es otra de las mejores canciones del álbum, encontrando a una Adele vulnerable y sintiéndose que ya no puede más pero dándose cuenta que si puede y que lo logrará, que tiene que mantenerse, porque hay que tenerle paciencia al tiempo.
La producción se basa en armonías de Adele repitiendo el título de la canción y agregándole variaciones que nos demuestran que su intención es dar esperanza, pero a si misma y a quien la pueda escuchar.
Adele nos cuenta y se pregunta si de verdad no ha aprendido nada de sus experiencias anteriores porque de igual manera sigue fallando y quedando herida, esta cansada de vivir en un desastre, un desastre que la consume por completo, explica lo difícil que es aferrarse a quien es cuando esta en la oscuridad necesitando ayuda.
Se arrepiente a veces de intentar con tanta fuerza y que odia ser ella misma, prefiriendo que un hoyo se la tragara completa. Esta luchando para poder sentirlo todo, sus emociones su vida.
A pesar de todo el dolor que la invade sabe que tiene que seguir resistiendo, luchando y mirando hacia un futuro donde todo estará mejor.
Nos explica que quizás a veces la soledad es el único descanso que podemos tener, que el perdón puede ser más fácil en secreto, porque quienes tenemos que estar seguros y con bastante conciencia de que nos perdonamos somos justamente nosotros.
Adele nos recuerda que su voz es una de las mas potentes de todos los tiempos modernos, demostrándolo al repetirnos que tenemos que aguantar y superar todo el caos que podamos encontrar en nuestras vidas porque el amor pronto vendrá.
La semana que pasó fue bastante turbulenta para mi personalmente y creo que “Hold On” conectó conmigo porque me confirma eso, que a pesar del caos que podamos sentir, que, aunque sintamos que nos estamos perdiendo en el desastre que pueda ocurrir en el mundo incluso en el que tenemos en nuestras mentes hay que resistir, perdonar y perdonarnos, lo cual es lo mas importante. El amor si llego, solo hay que ser pacientes.
Espero todos los que lean esto estén teniendo unas navidades hermosas y recuerden que lo mucho o lo poco no importa, lo que de verdad importar es estar para la/s persona/s que de verdad nos llena el corazón.

Continuing with the review of this great album, which I doubt that anyone has gone unnoticed, for me this second part of the album feels more hopeful, both for her, as for the world and love, in her lyrics I feel that she looks and feels in a way, not necessarily happy, but more optimistic about what happened, is happening and can happen in her life, without abandoning the nostalgia of what was, forgetting that she is still in the present and has to go to a future.
6- Can I get it

In Can I get it Adele goes again with the most important and successful pop producer of all times, Max Martin, creating a very fresh song for what we can feel that Adele would give us, the result is quite satisfactory because Adele finds the way to make it her own.
Adele tells us how she wants and for her it is the best to be in a real relationship, where she can see something more than superficial relationships, Adele has said in interviews that while she saw her friends getting involved in relationships where everything was superficial and not more than a one night stand, she does not prefer that, because she considers it a vicious circle that takes more from you than it can give you.
She explicitly tells us how she cannot make the heart of another person who only wants something easy and fast her home, how the love of that other person cannot make her free even though she has promised to love him until the end in good times and bad, but that her desire is that he is only hers, something real, something lasting.
7- I Drink Wine

This is confirmed as one of the next singles of the album since it already has a video which he describes as the funniest, it is something that really excites me because it is one of my favorite songs of the album and since the first time I heard it in his One Night Only concert I felt a special connection with the song, I hope everyone can get it too as it is a song that goes deep and together with the great production (and I don't mean ostentatious or particularly loud) manages to capture all the feeling and vibe that Adele has been handling throughout the album so far.
This song is full of gospel vibes, but without losing the essence of Adele which is something I really appreciate, in it she tells us and expresses how complete love, one where we can express ourselves completely without fear is what she asks the person to whom she sings, to lose her ego and the intention of being someone else when she simply wants to love, to its fullest expression.
Adele asks herself why she keeps turning into the opinion and actions that people expect from her, when it is something she obviously doesn't want and doesn't need, she makes it clear to the person she loves that she has tried, she has cried and she loves him.
She talks about the changes that can happen in a relationship when we don't want to, personal changes that take us away from being who we truly are and want to be. She wants to get rid of all the ties and be able to love to the fullest, because, even if others want something from her, the person she loves only wants her, just as she is.
8- All Night Parking

This is Adele's first collaboration in her career, being a sample of a very famous and old Errol Garner's song with the same name.
In this song Adele describes how she was able to find love for a while after she had her breakup. At first I didn't really like this song but that's because it's simply one of those kind of songs that we should get used to, and not because it's bad but because we are used to certain styles of production that we find nowadays this vintage style of the song may sound a little out of context, but it's actually a great song with a beat that attracts a lot and gives a great smoothness to the marathon of emotions that we have been facing when listening to her emotions in this album.
Adele talks about a long distance relationship, about thinking about the loved one at all times even to the level of just wanting to get home so she can dream about them. She tells us that normally she is great being alone but every time she receives a text from that person what she wants is to take the first flight home to dream that she is with that person.
9- Woman Like Me

In this song Adele takes an acoustic turn, but unlike Can I Get It, in this one it's a pretty dark acoustic turn, where only her voice stands out apart from the guitar in the background, and then slowly opens the door to a subtle production that makes an excellent match.
Adele goes straight for her ex's throat, directly telling him how hard it would be for him to keep a woman like her, knowing her worth Adele rejects how insecure her ex is, as well as being lazy and unambitious, which made him feel small, even if it only came from him feeling that way because of his inferiority complex, which had nothing to do with her and that's why someone else will have and deserve the love she had for him.
She describes her ex-partner as a complacent and inconsistent man, the latter being important in order to keep a woman like her, because she doesn't want a lazy man.
Like the previous song I didn't feel connected with this song, but as I listened to it and paid more attention to the lyrics and the very well done arrangements in the production I could confirm that it is an excellent song with quite direct lyrics and without any kind of covers, something that has characterized dele throughout his career.
10- Hold On

Adele is tired of fighting and keep trying, for me this is another of the best songs on the album, finding a vulnerable Adele and feeling that she can't do it anymore but realizing that she can and that she will make it, that she has to keep going, because you have to be patient with time. The production is based on Adele's harmonies repeating the title of the song and adding variations that show us that her intention is to give hope, but to herself and to whoever can listen to her.
Adele tells us and wonders if she really hasn't learned anything from her previous experiences because she keeps failing and getting hurt, she is tired of living in a disaster, a disaster that consumes her completely, she explains how hard it is to hold on to who she is when she is in the dark and needs help.
She regrets sometimes trying so hard and that she hates being herself, preferring to be swallowed whole by a hole. She is struggling to feel everything, her emotions, her life.
In spite of all the pain that invades her, she knows that she has to keep on resisting, fighting and looking towards a future where everything will be better.
She explains that perhaps sometimes loneliness is the only rest we can have, that forgiveness can be easier in secret, because we have to be sure and conscious that we forgive ourselves.
Adele reminds us that her voice is one of the most powerful of all modern times, proving it by repeating to us that we have to endure and overcome all the chaos we may encounter in our lives because love will soon come.
This past week was quite turbulent for me personally and I think "Hold On" connected with me because it confirms that, that despite the chaos we may feel, that even though we feel we are losing ourselves in the mess that may occur in the world even in the one we have in our minds we have to resist, forgive and forgive ourselves, which is the most important thing. Love has arrived, we just have to be patient.
