Analysing the Economic Value of Oil Price

While coronavirus caused a serious increase in the price of goods and other necessary commodities, there appears to be an exemption to this price increase of a necessary commodity whose price continues to decrease despite the increase in the price of other goods. Every form of energy source has greatly experienced a decline in the price of good since coronavirus hit in the world and the drop in price is making some people very excited while on the other hand, it is making some people feel really unhappy.

The drop in the price of fuel might not be a good news to investors at this time but for consumers it is a very great news since it means there will now be less spending on the energy that we use in our homes and for our automobiles as well.

The Reason for the Drop in Price of oil.

Fuel as a source of energy is highly necessary as it is used in every home, office and highly mandatory as a source of movement so it appeared to be something that no one could do without. Before the pandemic hit the global space, there was a lot of money pumped into the sector of fuel production, speaking of 2018 and 2019, there was a lot of improvement done to improve on making more fuel available in the market with the expectation that there was going to be a high turnover in the year 2020 and investors were greatly expectant until coronavirus came along.

When coronavirus was at its peak, we all had to stay indoors and this meant that movement was highly restricted and this means so many vehicles were parked and left unused, aircrafts were not flying neither were trains, every means of movement that required the use of fuel was not moving even offices were shut down and this means there was less use of electricity during that period and while there was less use of electricity there was a huge range of available oil in the market making the price drop greatly. Up till now, most offices are still closed and this only means that those offices are no longer using energy and working from home will consume less energy than the office space.

The Good Side to the Drop in the Price of ENERGY Sources.

The good side to this however is that the cost of producing renewable energy has also dropped drastically which means that more money can now be pumped into creating an energy that will be sustainable for all and less expensive since the price of fuel might return to normal or even surge higher anytime soon.
