Flying a Dreary Sunset - Exploring New Territory

I loaded up my paramotor and drove an hours south to go fly a new area for me. Wanted to check out some new terrain in southern Alberta I hadn't flown.

Unfortunately, this flight I couldn't get any wingmen to join me, but that turned out good because the take off spot I used was a very technically challenging one and wouldn't likely have been good for other pilots, it was too small, and bad rotor winds coming over a hillside.

The flight was still awesome and I just love exploring new areas and open country. This area is pretty remote so I stayed within a kilometer or so of the only road through the area just in case I went down and needed to hitchhike outta here!

It was great cruising the small river and the terrain here is just endless, I went about 90 km out and back so its HUGE, that whole area only had a few houses/farms along it.
