A lot of people honestly just do most things they find themselves doing either for the sake of fear of punishment ,or not getting paid or just to for records sake. In the real sense there should be a driving force or passion towards the things we do, because we tend to be more successful when our mind,soul are with us in the things we do.
A popular footballer once said and i quote"i get paid for what i love doing the most" but some people would still not be passionate about the things they love to do and i think it is of the good of us if we at every point take what we do seriously wether they are the things we love to do or not but for the reason or sake of it is what we have to do, we should put in more effort,it could be that one is a store keeper or a banker or a doctor or an agriculturist and or a student.
Two people working in a firm ,they were both employed at the same time and all of a sudden one gets promoted ,gets a raise but other fellow doesn't get promoted....this happens because their driving force or passion towards the job is not the same.
Why should we be passionate about the things we do?
1: we do not know who is watching. There maybe some other people watching you from a distance and they may want to either invest in the things you do or your driving force could also encourage them to do better in their things of life,as the saying goes"we are not living for ourselves alone but indirectly living for others"
2: if one is faithful (passionate ) in small things,they can also handle bigger tasks easily .
3: in the issues of life, what ever you do,it is for you,if one is lazy,he or she becomes affected and if one isn't lazy,he reaps all he is working for.
As a matter of fact,the only reason most people are still on a particular pace in life is because their passion for the things they do is very low. You dont have to like the job you do to be passionate about it but once we put in our mind,soul it indirectly becomes what we love.
I for once never loved agriculture and it was the only available option for me at the time of my academic pursuit but i took it because of the fear of what my parents would think or say of me if i dont study it,but by the time i had to put in more effort into my studies,i loved agriculture as a course,as an occupation,since graduation i have been working for an agricultural firm up until the pandemic .
Let some one be encouraged,and put in more work,get a driving force,be passionate in what ever you find to do and don't ever compare yourself to others,dont ever!!!
