Fun with a dark green chalk ^_^

One of the "privileges" an artist ha, is that we can have our hands full of spots and people say " Ehy, wow, he/she's working! Great!".

Yes, I can have my hands full of different spots and, at the same time, nobody think it's a bad thing. ^_^

Today I wanted to exercise my hands working on some patterns from a background using just a dark green chalk. This is the result of that exercise on my hand when I finished it:

Ok, I admit I have so much fun when I can use my hands instead of some brushes or other tools. I think it's because during my childhood my mother didn't want to see my hands so full of spots, but now I'm an adult (I'm an adult since a lot of years, to be sincere :P ) and nobody can scold me.

This is the final result of the exercise:

It's just a simple human figure in my style, but my attention was focused to try the background and so I used a chalk on a part of a cardboard box:

Interesting result, right? I like to experiment with different materials, as you can understand.

See ya soon and stay safe,

Silvia
