La libertad de expresión es un derecho que deberíamos tener todos los seres humanos para dar a conocer nuestros pensamientos de manera libre y expedita. Además es un derecho fundamental que nos permite expresarnos libremente siempre enmarcado en la tolerancia y el respeto al prójimo así mismo se tiene que hacer énfasis en que en Venezuela por ejemplo se tiene que seguir luchando para que la libertad de expresión no se pierda como ya se perdió la libertad de prensa que si está secuestrada hace casi una década.

Actualmente de no ser por las redes sociales que han crecido d una forma vertiginosa nos habrían quitado ya hasta la libertad de pensamiento. Por otra parte cabe destacar que en Venezuela más que salvar la libertad de expresión debemos cuidarla y elevar su nivel a la hora de manifestar los diversos puntos de vista, y eso se logra cuando logremos una verdadera veracidad e imparcialidad siempre teniendo claro que no es igual libertad de expresión a libertad de prensa. También debemos tener en claro que los comunicadores sociales escriben o hablan lo que le dictan sus jefes de las diferentes empresas. Por ello se debe luchar para que no se pierda la veracidad periodística ya sea en medio impreso, audiovisual, o corporativo.
