The inspiration
We came back to Hive with this new jam, i took one of my favorite albums in 'Modal Soul' of the japanese hip hop culture icon Nujabes, and picked the intro from the song 'Eternal Reflection' to sample it on the music software Reason. The drums were made also in Reason, with the Redrum and Dr Rex loop player plugin, i took a sample called old school cym and it was really cool.
Techninal comments
The guitar playing was produced by the backing track made with Reason, that means i did not think before what i played, i did not have any chords or scales, i just waited to have the complete backing track to start jaming with the guitar, and after having the sample ready, and the drums on the right tempo, it was a thing of just getting the sound to fusion.
Reflection on the tune
I like the result, i also enjoyed the process, but now i'm thinking in how i can keep improving and adding new layers to my music and the way i make this videos, i'm currently working on the design of the new material.
