Hoy es 23 de Diciembre y desde ya les deseo una Feliz Navidad, sé que muchos están en sus preparativos para el día de mañana, algunos haciendo unas últimas compras y otros (que aprenden de las experiencias 😂) están afinando los últimos detalles, el día de hoy fui secuestrada por mi mamá para hacer la respectiva compra quincenal de verduras y hortalizas, que casualmente coincidió con ésta fecha decembrina, y me pareció interesante hablarles de éste lugar y mostrarles un poco de cómo se encontraba el día de hoy.
Today is December 23rd and I wish you a Merry Christmas, I know that many of you are preparing for tomorrow, some are doing some last shopping and others (who learn from experiences 😂) are fine tuning the last details, today I was kidnapped by my mum to do the respective fortnightly shopping of vegetables, which coincidentally coincided with this Christmas date, and I thought it would be interesting to tell you about this place and show you a little of how it was today.
El día arrancó a las 5:30 am, porque a mi sra madre no le gusta llegar tarde a la feria 😂😂, aunque al lugar llegamos aproximadamente a las 6:15 am y ya estaba repleta de personas, incluso muchas ya venían saliendo con sus respectivas compras. La cooperativa Cecosesola es una especie de organismo que presta diversos servicios, entre ellos salud, funeraria y venta de alimentos que están exentos del impuesto al valor agregado (I.V.A), por lo que resultan tener un precio menor al del resto de comercios en general. Honestamente no sé si en otras ciudades o estados del país exista un lugar así, si es el caso déjame saberlo en los comentarios.
The day started at 5:30 am, because my mother doesn't like to be late for the fair 😂😂, although we arrived at the place at approximately 6:15 am and it was already full of people, many of whom were already leaving with their respective purchases. The Cecosesola cooperative is a kind of organisation that provides various services, including health, funeral services and food sales that are exempt from value added tax (I.V.A.), so they happen to have a lower price than other shops in general. I honestly don't know if in other cities or states of the country there is a place like this, if so let me know in the comments.
Desde que tengo memoria, en mi casa se realiza la compra de verduras, hortalizas y frutas en éste lugar, y es que además del precio accesible de las mismas, los productos son de muy buena calidad, ya que la mayoría vienen directamente del productor. En Barquisimeto existen varios establecimientos distribuidos por toda la ciudad, sin embargo el principal y más grande está ubicado en el sector de Ruíz Pineda, y es aquí dónde mi familia suele ir. Como bien lo mencioné al inicio, desde muy temprano ya había bastante flujo de personas, si bien no había colas fuera del local (porque se suelen hacer), dentro del mismo en el área de las cajas sí que habían filas bastante largas pero que fluían con rapidez, durante mi espera para pagar conté con la compañía de un pequeño amiguito que al igual que yo, se había levantado super temprano 🤣.
For as long as I can remember, my house has been buying vegetables and fruit here, and in addition to the affordable prices, the products are of very good quality, as most of them come directly from the producer. In Barquisimeto there are several establishments distributed throughout the city, but the main and largest one is located in the Ruíz Pineda sector, and this is where my family usually goes. As I mentioned at the beginning, from very early in the morning there was already quite a flow of people, although there were no queues outside the store (because there usually are), inside the checkout area there were quite long lines but they flowed quickly, during my wait to pay I had the company of a little friend who, like me, had gotten up super early 🤣.
Honestamente pensé que nos íbamos a encontrar con muchísima más personas, porque en ocasiones anteriores ha pasado y porque obviamente la fecha se prestaba para tal cosa, sin embargo a medida que la mañana iba avanzando sí que se podía ver cómo empezaban a llegar más personas, por lo que intuyo que a horas de medio día tal vez la afluencia de personas sería más. Luego de llegar solo con mi bolsito donde llevaba mi teléfono, salimos con tres grandes bolsas y mucha hambre 🤣, por lo que la jornada acabó con mi respectivo desayuno y una pequeña siesta 🤣🤣.
I honestly thought that we were going to find a lot more people, because in previous occasions it has happened and because obviously the date lent itself to such a thing, however as the morning progressed we could see how more people began to arrive, so I guess that at midday perhaps the influx of people would be more. After arriving alone with my little bag where I carried my phone, we left with three big bags and a lot of hunger 🤣, so the day ended with my respective breakfast and a little nap 🤣🤣.
Ah y no se crean, también venden alimento para mascotas y demás animalitos, de algunos artículos productos como shampoo, desparasitantes y demás cositas, también suelen tener un valor menor al de los comercios en general, justo por esto dentro de las instalaciones hay varios perritos (como mi compañero de cola) porque a ellos les dan alimento y los mantienen gorditos 💕.
Oh and don't believe it, they also sell food for pets and other animals, some products such as shampoo, dewormers and other little things, also usually have a lower value than the shops in general, just for this inside the facilities there are several dogs (like my tail mate) because they give them food and keep them chubby 💕.
