Gentiana zollingeri, is a biennial plant native to Japan, Korea, China. It is a tiny plant and the height is about 3 -10cm. The blue-purple flowers open only on bright sunny days, but generally remain closed on over-cast or rainy days and at night.
It's rare to see blue flowers in the early spring.
The hoverflies (Helophilus virgatus?) and large bee-fly(Bombylius major) were visiting to the flowers to pollenate.
