HAVE YOU EVER SEEN THIS ANIMAL?

This little cute creature is called a tarsier. It may look like it is fake because it has owl eyes and a squirrel body, but I assure you that it is very real.

Tarsiers are haplorrhine monkeys belonging to the Tarsiidae family, the infraorder Tarsiiformes' lone living family. Despite the fact that the group was previously more widespread, all of its live species may now be found in Southeast Asia's islands, notably the Philippines, Malaysia, Indonesia, and Brunei.

Here are a few trivia about the Tarsier:
-Tarsiers are nocturnal animals.
-Tarsiers, unlike many other nocturnal animals, have a fovea instead of a light-reflecting layer of the retina.
-Tarsiers have morphology that allows them to turn their heads 180 degrees in each direction, giving them 360-degree vision.
-Tarsiers are the only fully carnivorous monkeys left on the planet; they eat only insects and capture them by jumping at them. Beetles, spiders, cockroaches, grasshoppers, and walking sticks are among their favorite prey. Birds, snakes, lizards, and bats have all been known to fall prey to them.

Tarsiers are incredibly endangered so it is very important to raise awareness about this tiny friend of ours. they may be little but their lives are just as precious as the biggest animals.
