#36daysoftype - J for Jhumar

Jhumar is a folk dance popular throughout the state of Haryana, India. This dance form takes its name from the ornament Jhumar, worn by the married women. Dressed in colourful costumes, the ladies dance, sing and clap with the beats of 'dholak' and 'thali' while gracefully moving in a circle.

I made this illustration when I was working for QED42 brand. It was a really good company and I loved working there. It was a long time ago when I worked for them in #36daysoftype challenge.
