Today I will talk to you about the national flag of our country.
A national flag is the symbol of a country 's sovereignty and its own identity. The national flag of Bangladesh is the symbol of our pride, freedom and history. Our glorious natioonal flag was bought at the cost of a sea of bloom. Painter Quamrul Hasan is the designer of our national flag. It is rectangular in shape. Its length and width ration are 10:6. It consists of a red dise on top if a green field. The red disc represent the sun rising over Bangladesh and the bloom of martyrs.
The green backdrop stands for everlasting youthfulness and vitality of our nation and greenery. The national flag is hoisted atop the government, semi - government and self -autonomous buildings every day. The flag is the source of our spirit, optimism and inspiration.
