The second phase of the Hive water project began this week and this was announced earlier this week. We're hoping to finish it all by next week. Phase two comprises laying the foundation for the tower that will hold the water tank, building the wall where the taps will be installed, laying the pipes, and other electrical work.

The tower and the pillars have been completed. They started building the seat for the water tank and two pillars to hold the completed wall yesterday. Following this, will be the laying of the tiles and the Hive plaque on the wall. Plumbing and electrical work on the pumps and booster machine will complete the second phase.

The Masons have put forth a lot of effort and given it their all. They could have finished their work sooner if it hadn't been for this week's severe rainfall. We are in the midst of the rainy season, which can stymie construction projects. Despite the recent harsh weather, we have been able to keep the project moving forward in order to fulfill our deadline.

We are grateful that not only the leaders of the Agona community, but also a lot of the residents, have showed their support and been involved from the start. We have the Assemblyman and other community leaders who have mostly been on site when work is being done. Some residents have visited the project site as well.

With their support , we are confident that the work will be done so well even in our absence. We made sure that all supplies needed to finish the project were made available due to inflation, We are confident that work will go off without a hitch as a result of this move.

Though we are not yet finished, the water project is already supplying portable water to the people of Agona. While construction was underway this week, some residents living near the project side came to get water for their own use. We had to capture the moment because it was a beautiful sight.

Our joy stems from the fact that Hive has reached out to this community and has been an answer to their most pressing need. We can't wait to launch and hand over the project to them for immediate usage, especially when they are so in need of good water.

The work is progressing and all things being equal, we hope work will be completed successfully next week.we will keep the Hive community updated by providing updates as we progress through each stage. We (@mcsamm and @collinz) would like to thank everyone for their kind gestures and support since the Hive Project began.
