Hello, people from #HIVE.

In a previous post (which you can see here), I drew the silhouette of a woman, who after walking a long way to transport water in a vase she carries over her head, She rests in the shade of a tree in the middle of the desert so that she can regain the strength that will allow her to advance until she reaches his home.

On this occasion I want to show you this illustration, which is the scene that follows what was described in the previous paragraph.

Here I wanted to represent this woman arriving near her home, and her children, seeing her in the distance, run to meet her with great joy. The woman, although a little tired because of the walk and even with the vase in her arms, like every mother, always ready to offer all the love to her children.

As a personal story, it reminds me of my childhood, the times when my sister and I received our Mama when she came home from work.

En una publicación anterior (que puedes ver pulsando aquí), dibujé la silueta de una mujer, quien luego de caminar un largo trayecto para transportar agua en un jarrón que lleva sobre su cabeza, descansa a la sombra de un árbol en medio del desierto y así poder recuperar fuerza que le permita avanzar hasta llegar a su hogar.

En esta ocasión les quiero mostrar esta ilustración, que es la escena que sigue a lo descrito en el párrafo anterior.

Aquí quise representar a esta mujer llegando cerca de su hogar, y sus hijos, al verla a la distancia, salen corriendo a recibirla con mucha alegría. La mujer, aunque un poco cansada por la caminata y aun con el jarrón entre brazos, como toda madre, siempre dispuesta a brindarle todo el amor a sus niños.

Como historia personal, me hace recordar mi infancia, los momentos en los que mi hermana y yo recibíamos a nuestra madre cuando ella llegaba a casa después de un día de trabajo.

To create this illustration

I used a canvas in the Photoshop program, with dimensions of 7075 x 5000 pixels. Below you will see some screenshots showing the creation process.

I drew a hill first.

Para realizar esta ilustración:

Utilicé un lienzo en el programa Photoshop, con dimensiones de 7075 x 5000 píxeles. A continuación podrán ver algunas capturas de pantalla que muestras el proceso de creación.

Primero dibujé una colina.

Then I added, the silhouettes of the woman and children. For the background I blurred brown colors that I took from this color palette

Luego agregué, las siluetas de la mujer y los niños. Para el fondo difuminé colores café que tomé de ésta paleta de colores

On the hill I placed a kind of stone monuments, which are at the entrance of the village where this family lives

Sobre la colina coloqué una especie de monumentos de piedra, que están a la entrada del pueblo donde vive esta familia.

I added textures and some lights to the image.

Agregué texturas y algunas luces a la imagen.

And finally, some spheres with Gaussian blur, which would contrast with the rest of the image and give it that touch of color and maternal warmth.

Y finalmente, unas esferas con desenfoque gaussiano, que contrastaría con el resto de la imagen y le da ese toque de color y calor materno.
