How to Train Inner Strength

Only humans can be aware of their thoughts. Thinking about the content of the mind, consciousness is power. Train this awareness, to get stronger, as a repetition like working the muscles in the gym.

Sharpen focus by trying to concentrate on an object. It can be objects, sentences or words, count 1 to 6, or just pay attention to the breath. As soon as distraction of thoughts, inner sounds, pictures, then stop.

Back again to the object of concentration practice, focus, get distracted, focus again. And so on until they are able to control consciousness.

This power will later be useful for getting much deeper thoughts. With a strong awareness can be wiser.

Not only intellectually minded, not only knowing theory but also wisdom. Later you will realize true knowledge:

Life is temporary, nothing is permanent, everything changes, everything is interrelated. If you become aware of this dependence, you will no longer be arrogant.

The ego will fade away and suffering will cease, because ignorance and negativity will cease to exist. Positive thoughts, not easily carried away by emotions or impulsivity. You can meditate holistically, gather complete data, and analyze information. And finally you can make a choice, the right decision.
