Hello from the newbie to Hive community!

Hi guys,
Hope you are doing great.
Part 1: Let's get to know each other
I am Aaron, I live with my mom in a small town named Nha Be - suburbs of Saigon.
I love cooking for my loved ones and traveling - though I have not been to many countries 😁.

I was born and raised as a girl, but soon, I realize I can not fit in dresses, skirts or other beautiful clothes for women. I tried on menswear and got addicted to it. Look at picture of a good-looking guy, other girls might be attracted and wish him to be their boyfriend/husband, for me, all I want is just can be like him, a really handsome gentlemen.
And yes, I do have feelings for women.
I struggled a lot because it was not easy for you to come out as a transgender while being the only child in a family that does not have much sympathy for the LGBTQ+ community.

Then, due to some reasons, I applied for a job in Malaysia, which is Customer Fulfillment Specialist, basically, I have to review the online content then resolve user's complaints accordingly base on the standard guidelines and workflow. I wanted to go to a new place, to challenge myself - living alone, taking responsibility for my life and hopefully one day, when I have enough courage, I will tell my mom who I really am.

Part 2: Malaysia - a whole new world for me
The first thing and all I know about Malaysia before is by a tourism advertisement on TV with the slogan "Malaysia Truly Asia". 3 days before my flight, I started to explore this country through the Internet. To be honest, I was amazed not only because of the beauty of attractions, the modernization but also the diversity of cultures, festivals, traditions and customs. People are super friendly, they will try their best to understand and support you even sometimes you do not use the same language (Bahasa Malaysia). There are different cuisines with a variety of delicious foods for you to try.

Malaysia has gradually become my second hometown since it nourished my fragile soul, gave me a job opportunity and a precious chance to meet many good friends. A 9-5 job might sound boring but actually, you can always find happiness in what you do or outside of work and I did join some groups for outdoor activities such as trekking, bowling.

3 years have gone by, now I am in Vietnam, taking a break from work, but still looking for a day coming back to complete what I have planned but not done in Malaysia.
Why not another country? Well, if you are truly in love with a person/a place/a hobby, you keep coming back to them/to there/to it every time, don't you?

In the meantime, I just try to improve myself, physically and mentally. When the time comes, I will thrive gorgeously, I guess 😉

Part 3: A big big thanks
Shout out to my adorable friend @winnietran and my lovely, enthusiastic sister @trangbaby, who keep encouraging me to join this wonderful community, assist me whenever I need help and guide me in every little detail. A platform for everyone to share their story, their feeling and even experience which sometimes, hard to be expressed by talking.
Sending out my best wishes for you guys whoever is reading this and hope to have you all in my next post.
Stay safe, guys.
