Desde que tengo memoria y decisión me gustan las cosas artísticas, soy ese tipo de personas que les gusta todo, coser, pintar, dibujar, bordar, y que además siempre quiere aprender algo nuevo y mi mente últimamente esta algo inquieta así que decidí empezar a hacer algunas cosas nuevas, un amigo y yo tomamos un proyecto de dibujo, por el momento estamos aprendiendo 😁 pero tenemos algunos avances y así es como nace mi primera postal.
Since I can remember and decide, I like artistic things, I am that type of person who likes everything, sewing, painting, drawing, embroidering, and who also always wants to learn something new and my mind has been somewhat restless lately so I decided to start do some new things, a friend and I took on a drawing project, at the moment we are learning 😁 but we have some progress and that's how my first postcard is born.
Para dibujar estoy usando illustrator y una tableta, aunque también suelo dibujar con el mouse, esto ya casi ni lo hago porque estar tanto tiempo presionando me genera dolores en la posición de la mano pero tengo la tableta así que esta todo en orden, aunque creo que debería volver a bocetar a mano en hoja y papel.
Decidimos empezar este proyecto por varias cuestiones como hacer algo creativo, ocupar nuestra mente en algo productivo y además ver si de alguna forma llegábamos a algún lado pero sin presiones jajaja, la idea a largo plazo es ver que sale pero mientras tengamos tiempo y sea divertido ahí estaremos.
To draw I am using Illustrator and a tablet, although I also usually draw with the mouse, I hardly do this anymore because pressing for so long causes pain in the position of my hand but I have the tablet so everything is in order, although I think that I should sketch again by hand on sheet and paper. We decided to start this project for several reasons such as doing something creative, occupying our minds with something productive and also seeing if we somehow got somewhere but without pressure hahaha, the long-term idea is to see what comes out but as long as we have time and it's fun we will be there.
Para empezar estamos trabajando en equipo pero cada quién con su estilo y dándonos críticas para mejorar, en este caso él es un poco mejor que yo en eso jajaja ya que viene de la rama del diseño gráfico y es algo que le sale muy bien, para hacer esta postal tomamos de temática la navidad 🎄 ya que nuestro proyecto es en diciembre.
Empecé por lo clásico que son bolas navideñas haciendo los círculos a mano, la idea es dibujar a mano pero con el estabilizador jajaja realmente estoy aprendiendo a dibujar de cero, solo con un concepto y las ideas de mi mente lo cual puede costar.
To begin with we are working as a team but each one with his own style and giving us criticism to improve, in this case he is a little better than me at that hahaha since he comes from the branch of graphic design and it is something that he does very well, for To make this postcard we took Christmas as a theme 🎄 since our project is in December. I started with the classic Christmas balls, making the circles by hand, the idea is to draw by hand but with the stabilizer hahaha I'm really learning to draw from scratch, just with a concept and the ideas in my mind which can be difficult.
Para esta postal hice unas 6 pelotas dos de cada diseño, no se me ocurría hacer nada más ya que simplemente es algo nuevo que explorar, pero como se supone que es una postal navideña para dedicar también hice luces navideñas para decorar.
Para dibujar esto tanto las luces como las bolas mire imágenes de fotos reales y con esa información en la cabeza me puse a dibujar, algo que decía un profesor en las clases de la universidad es que nunca dejemos de mirar la realidad pero que si queríamos dibujar desde la imaginación tengamos una idea de a donde íbamos y eso intenté hacer.
For this postcard I made about 6 balls, two of each design, it didn't occur to me to do anything else since it is simply something new to explore, but since it is supposed to be a Christmas card to dedicate, I also made Christmas lights to decorate. To draw this, both the lights and the balls, I looked at images of real photos and with that information in my head I started to draw, something that a professor said in university classes is that we should never stop looking at reality but if we wanted to draw From our imagination we have an idea of where we were going and that's what I tried to do.
También hice un pequeño recuadro para escribir una dedicatoria breve, la idea sería imprimirla y ponerla junto con un regalo, o simplemente escribir algo bonito y dedicarlo.
Para los colores tome una paleta básica basándome en los primarios rojo, azul y amarillo y dos secundarios verde y naranja, el verde es opuesto al rojo y también un color navideño, y el naranja siento que iba bien, lo más difícil de todo fue la paleta de colores y encontrar un tono de verde que me gustara.
I also made a small box to write a short dedication, the idea would be to print it and put it with a gift, or just write something nice and dedicate it. For the colors I took a basic palette based on the primaries red, blue and yellow and two secondaries green and orange, green is opposite to red and also a Christmas color, and the orange I feel went well, the most difficult of all was the color palette and finding a shade of green that I liked.

Creo que es un primer acercamiento decente jajajaja pero fue divertido de hacer, estamos en plan de seguir trabajando para poder hacer algunas cosas más y disfrutar del proyecto, espero tener constancia con esto jajaja. Hasta la próxima ❤️.
