A historical work of 2 meters//Una obra histórica de 2 metros
Hello dear friends of Hive Blog, and especially of this beautiful community, this is my first post in the sketchbook community, I know I haven't been very active💁♀️, so this week I decided to present you a new project👩 that I have made, it is one of the banners or posters🎨 as you know it in your country, bigger than I have made in my 3 years with my small business🤗.
I'm going to tell you a little about how the experience was 😁. On June 26 of this year, one of my most frequent clients contacted me 📲 to make a collage-type banner 2 meters long by 2 meters wide 📏 with the intention of decorating a school event 🏘 they had, so once Once the theme was agreed, I got to work since I only had 2 weeks to execute it🤝. The first thing I did was take paper and pencil and design a sketch 🖼 to know how I was going to capture all the historical periods that my country Venezuela has gone through 🇻🇪
Hola queridos amigos de Hive Blog, y sobre todo a esta bella comunidad, este es mi primer post en la comunidad sketchbook, sé que no eh estado muy activa💁♀️, así que en esta semana me propuse en presentarles un nuevo proyecto👩 que eh realizado, se trata de una de las pancartas o carteles🎨 como lo conozcan en su país, más grande que eh elaborado en mis 3 años con mi pequeño emprendimiento🤗. Les voy a relatar un poco de cómo fue la experiencia😁. El 26 junio de este mismo año una de mis clientas más frecuentes, me contacto 📲 para realizar una pancarta tipo collage de 2 metros de largo por 2 metros de ancho 📏con la intención de decorar un evento escolar 🏘que tenían, así que una vez acordado la temática me puse manos a la obra ya que solo tenía 2 semanas para ejecutarla🤝. Lo primero que hice fue tomar papel y lápiz y diseñe un boceto🖼 para poder saber cómo iba a plasmar todos los periodos históricos que ha pasado mi país Venezuela 🇻🇪
As an important fact, my country has lived through 3 periods that marked its history📜, the first was 1000 years ago where our lands were only inhabited by indigenous people🏕, each one located in a different region, with their beliefs and customs that were different in each ethnic group🏹 , later for the year 1498 Christopher Columbus ⛵ discovers America being the first country colonized by the Spanish Venezuela 🇻🇪🇻🇪, this period was called the colonial period which lasted until 1810 and was the one that saw the birth of miscegenation and liberator Simón Bolívar, for the year 1811 is when the act of 📝 independence is signed and this movement begins, later I acquired the freedom of our peoples ⚔, Venezuela undergoes different sociopolitical changes passing through different governments until today 🏙 calling this period as a Republican.
All this was what I had to draw 🎨 on the banner but in a more childish way since it was aimed at an event for children 👶👧🧒, so once the sketch was done I decided to sketch the idea in pawer poin so that the client I could visualize it better 👀.
Como dato importante mi país ha vivido 3 periodos que marcaron su historia📜, el primero fue hace 1000 años donde nuestras tierras solo habitaban los indígenas🏕, cada uno localizado en una región distinta, con sus creencias y costumbres que eran diferentes en cada etnia🏹, posteriormente para el año de 1498 Cristóbal Colon ⛵descubre américa siendo el primer país colonizado por los españoles Venezuela🇻🇪🇻🇪, a este periodo se le denomino periodo colonial el cual se extendió hasta 1810 y fue el que vio nacer el mestizaje y al libertador Simón Bolívar, para el año 1811 es cuando se firma el acta de 📝independencia y se inicia dicho movimiento, posteriormente a adquirí la libertad de nuestros pueblos⚔, Venezuela se somete a diferentes cambios sociopolíticos pasando por diferentes gobiernos hasta la actualidad 🏙denominándose este periodo como republicano. Todo esto era lo que tenía que dibujar 🎨en la pancarta pero de una manera más infantil ya que estaba dirigida a un evento para los niños👶👧🧒, así que una vez hecho el boceto decidí bosquejar en pawer poin la idea para que la clienta la pudiera visualizar mejor👀.
Once the design was approved, I set out to buy💸 all the material I needed, the first thing I bought was 2 meters of paper 📜krass, cold paint, glue, pencil, brushes and rubber or eraser, once I bought the things I assembled to put the sketch on paper📝, but it was so big that I had to take all the things out of my room and disassemble my bed to make it fit 😅😂😂
Una vez aprobado el diseño, me dispuse a comprar💸 todo el material que necesitaba, lo primero que adquirí fue 2 metros de papel 📜krass, pintura al frio, pega, lápiz, pinceles y goma o borrador, una vez comprado las cosas me monté a plasmar el boceto en el papel📝, pero era tan grande que tuve que sacar todas las cosas de mi cuarto y desarmar mi cama para hacer que entrara 😅😂😂
I spent 4 days, just designing what I wanted in pencil😓😁, this turned out to be quite complicated since when it struck 5 in the afternoon it was hard for me to see 👀what I was putting on paper because it was camouflaged with its color🔍, those It was 4 nights where back pain and fatigue 😴 took over my whole body but when I finally managed to finish that part of the job I felt accomplished 🤗
Pase 4 días, solo diseñando a lápiz lo que quería😓😁, esto resulto bastante complicado ya que cuando daban las 5 de la tarde me costaba ver 👀que estaba plasmando en el papel debido a que se camuflaba con el color del mismo🔍, esas fueron 4 noches donde el dolor de espalda y el cansancio😴 se apoderaban de todo mi cuerpo pero cuando por fin logre culminar esa parte del trabajo me sentí realizada 🤗
But little did I know that my happiness was not going to last😱😭, that same day when I was resting the client contacted me📲 she notified me of the decline in my breathing, she told me that the delivery date had been changed and therefore I had to deliver the banner the next day 😤. That caused me a lot of anguish and desperation😰, so “when a lady is in danger, fairy tales say that a knight in white armor will always come to her rescue ”, so my boyfriend got going and got ready to help me after leaving work🧑💏
Pero poco sabía que mi felicidad no iba durar😱😭, ese mismo día cuando estaba descansando la clienta se comunicó conmigo📲 me notifico lo que fue el declive de mi respiro, me dijo que la fecha de entrega se había cambiado y por lo tanto tenía que entregar la pancarta al día 😤siguiente. Eso me ocasiono mucha angustia y desesperación😰, así que “cuando una dama está en peligro dicen los cuentos de hadas que siempre un caballero de blanca armadura ira en su rescate🫂”, por lo tanto mi novio se puso en marcha y se dispuso a ayudarme después de salir de su trabajo🧑💏
That was a very stressful night🌝, since we only had 12 hours to finish it, my boyfriend was in charge of applying the bases and I was in charge of applying the shadows and the details🖼, while he painted the colonial period I finished the indigenous period, we spent all the night painting🌌 and there came a point where exhaustion overcame us😴, by that time we had only finished 2 periods and we were missing the republican, therefore we decided to rest for at least 2 hours.
Esa fue toda una noche de mucho estrés🌝, ya que teníamos solo 12 horas para terminarla, mi novio se encargaba de aplicar las bases y yo las sombras y los detalles🖼, mientras el pintaba el periodo colonial yo terminaba el periodo indígena, pasamos toda la noche pintando🌌 y llego un punto que el agotamiento nos venció😴, ya para ese momento solo habíamos terminado 2 periodos y nos faltaba el republicano, por lo tanto decidimos descansar por lo menos 2 horas.
Then we got up and went to work as fast as we could🏃🏃 to finish it because we didn't have much time anymore🕐, around 7 am my boyfriend left work again and I got ready to finish what What was missing 🤝 and when the delivery time was right, I had already completed the banner, that was a great joy for me 😁😁😍, later I delivered it and thank God everyone was pleased. 😍
Luego nos levantamos y nos pusimos a trabajar lo más rápido que podíamos🏃🏃 para terminarla debido a que no teníamos ya casi nada de tiempo🕐, como a las 7 am mi novio se retiró nuevamente a su trabajo y yo me dispuse a concluir lo que nos faltaba🤝 y cuando se hiso justo el tiempo de entrega ya había completado la pancarta, eso fue una gran alegria para mi 😁😁😍,posteriormente la entregue y gracias a dios todos quedaron complacidos. 😍
