Hello hivers, an happy Monday to you all!
Another very hot day here and it's really too hot to work on my usual paintings, so I'm spending the most part of the day studying some new subject for my next artworks and I'm doing it in my favorite way: creating some sort of paper dolls! 😊
You know I love to use the scraps of paper I use to collect cutting the paper box of the cookies to give them a new life and so I'm exercicing my hands and my imaginations with them.
This morning, after the first cup of coffee of my day, I left my imagination free to work and, in the following pics you can see the final result:
As you can see, the subject is a sort of funny monster similar to a flying dragon, a mix between a dog with long ears and the body of a serpent, but with the wings too. As I wrote, I left my imagination free to work. 😀
It's a mixed media (acrylic colors, oil colors and white ink) painting on around 300 gsm paper and, like I use to do for you, I took some pics while I was painted this funny figure so you can see the process too:
