An happy Saturday to you all!
It's a sunny warm day here in my area and I started my day cleaning my backyard and drinking the first coffee of the day sitting on the chair under the plum tree. Now there are a lot of tiny plums on the branches of my tree and there is a big magpie who use to eat some of them when there is no one around. _
The cats of my neighbors are jumping all around trying to catch something in the gardens close to mine, but my furry friend Richy seems to prefer to sleep in his comfortable blancket. :D
Today I'm here to show you a new mixed media on paper I just finished and, in the following pics, you can see the final result:
As you can see, the subject is a freaky bird on a sort of nest over some strange leaves. When I started to paint the piece I had no idea on what I want to obtain, I just left my hands free to work and this was the result. _
It's an mixed media painting (acrylic colors, oil colors and white ink) on 200 gsm paper in A4 size and, in the following pics, you can see some steps of the process:
