Warli Art - Wedding Day

Warli Art is a tribal art form which is mostly created by the tribal people from the north sahyadri range in Maharashtra, India. This art form was originally created in Maharashtra itself and is still practiced today. This tradition is the finest example of the folk style paintings of India.

Again its a new art piece , Its a first attempt and it came out so well. Warli art is tribal art of India. It is traditionally done with chewed bamboo stick to give a brush like texture and it is done on red ocher background that is made from brick. But today I have given it a modern touch by using fine liner pen. It is directly made from pen.

Firstly made the border and 2 corners inside the frame.

Now made the mandap, the bride and the groom along with hawan kund in the center.

Followed by which I made the muscians, dancers and trees.

Then made birds, horse that is tied with a tree and a tribal lady cooking and as it is a day wedding so drawn the sun

Now here are all the four borders and here is how it looks finally
