Happy coming my dear readers, I hope you are doing great and of course you have had a great week, as many of you know me I am Manuel and as always it is a pleasure to have you here once again on my art blog; this time I come to present a drawing about a new character for my universe of creations, a work in which I have been working the last couple of days. As many already know I'm a super fan of the alien and space theme and this time I wanted to create something related to that, it turns out that on a planet in a very very dangerous galaxy there is an evil and dangerous mercenary called (Dariellah), a woman of great beauty and very peaceful appearance, but what not everyone knew is that under that angelic face was hiding a skilled criminal capable of anything; A few years ago Dariellah was finally captured by an elite group of her planet, and is currently facing a tough trial in which she will have to answer for all the crimes committed throughout her short life:
Feliz vienes mis queridísimos lectores y lectoras, espero que se encuentren full bien y por supuesto que hayan tenido una grandiosa semana, como muchos me conocen yo soy Manuel y como siempre es un gustazo tenerlos por aquí de nuevo una vez más por mi blog de arte; en esta ocasión les vengo a presentar un dibujo sobre un nuevo personaje para mi universo de creaciones, una obra en la que estuve trabajando el ultimo par de días. Como muchas ya lo saben soy super fan de la temática alíen y espacial y en esta oportunidad quise crear algo relacionado con eso, resulta que en un planeta dentro de una galaxia muy muy peligrosa existe una malvada y peligrosa mercenaria llamada (Dariellah), una mujer de gran belleza y apariencia muy pacifica, pero lo que no todos sabían es que bajo ese angelical rostro se ocultaba una hábil delincuente capaz de cualquier cosa; hace unos cuantos años atrás Dariellah por fin fue capturada por un grupo elite de su planeta, y actualmente se encuentra enfrentando un duro juicio en el cual deberá responder por todos los delitos cometidos a lo largo de su corta vida:
PROCESS / PROCESO
I sketched Dariellah covered by a lot of big chains which make it impossible for her to move freely and escape, and after finishing the sketch I decided to use quite vivid colors and at the same time very varied to represent this idea that I had in my imagination; in the case of the skin I wanted to start with soft brown and orange tones to achieve a very very bright skin, with the help of my airbrush with a large size and dispersed opacity I created the volume and the basic shadows of the skin. With the creation of a new layer in multiply mode I could define well the deep shadows in places like the neck, under the nose, inside the ears and under the hair of course; besides the shadows I also wanted to print a touch of warmth and for this I reddened the cheeks, nose and eyelids at a very soft opacity.
Bocetee a Dariellah cubierta por un montón de grandes cadenas las cuales imposibilitan que pueda moverse libremente y escapar, y luego de terminar con el boceto me propuse utilizar colores bastante vivos y al mismo tiempo muy variados para representar esta idea que tenia en mi imaginación; en el caso de la piel quise empezar con tonalidades marrones suaves y naranjas para así lograr una piel muy muy brillante, con ayuda de mi pincel aerógrafo con un tamaño grande y opacidad dispersa fui creando el volumen y las sombras básicas de la piel. Con la creación de una nueva capa en modo multiplicar pude definir bien las sombras profundas en lugares como el cuello, debajo de la nariz, el interior de las orejas y debajo del cabello por supuesto; además de las sombras también quise imprimir un toque de calidez y para esto enrojecí las mejillas, nariz y parpados a una opacidad muy suave.
For the painting of the eyes I wanted them to look like something very special and unique, that's why I decided to use pink tones subtly mixed with violet tones to give a lot of brightness in the edges and the middle area to not have the need to create iris or pupil inside them; in the case of the lips I used a reddish tone that I like a lot and that allowed me a subtle transition between the skin of the cheeks, so that the lips did not look weird or inanimate. The hair style I wanted to be quite short, for this I used shades like gray for the base and some saturated purple to place the strands to the sides and getting of course a good volume; finally to get the relief and realism that I like so much in the hair what I did was to use my 3-tip brush at medium opacity and I was creating subtle strands from the center to the edges leaving a few loose strands in the bangs and next to the pointed ears.
Para el pintado de los ojos quise que se viesen como algo muy especial y único, es por eso que decidí usar tonalidades rosa mezclada sutilmente con tonos violetas para darle mucho brillo en los bordes y la zona media para no tener la necesidad de crear iris ni pupila dentro de ellos; en le caso de los labios si use un tono rojizo que me gusta mucho y que me permitió una sutil transición entre la piel de las mejillas, para que así los labios no se viesen raro o inanimados. El estilo del cabello quise que fuese bastante corto, para esto me anime a usar tonos como el gris para la base y algunos morados saturados para ir colocando los mechones hacia los lados y consiguiendo por supuesto un buen volumen; finalmente para obtener el relieve y realismo que tanto me gusta en el cabello lo que hice fue usar mi pincel de 3 puntas a opacidad media y fui creando sutiles mechones desde el centro hacia los bordes dejando unos cuantos mechones sueltos en el flequillo y junto a las puntiagudas orejas.
In the case of the dress I wanted my character to wear a kind of dark purple blouse that combined well with the eyes and also with the hair, for this I used my flat brush and created the blouse with a slight opening in the neck area and left the shoulders slightly uncovered; as an additional touch to make the dress look better what I did was to add some pattern with my water brush and create a nice wavy effect throughout the fabric of the dress. For the painting of the chains I decided to use a lot of yellow tones to represent that the chains are made of highly resistant pure gold, with a small brush I was giving little by little the shape to the links of the chain taking my time to make the chain look as good as possible; later I created 2 additional layers, in one I made a few shadows in the inner part of the chains, and in the other I created double strokes of glitter which gave the chains that realism that I wanted.
En el caso de la vestimenta quise mi personaje llevase una especie de blusa de color morado oscuro que combinara bien con los ojos y también con el pelo, para esto use mi pincel plano y cree la blusa con una leve abertura en la zona del cuello y y dejado los hombros levemente descubiertos; como toque adicional para que el vestido se viese mejor lo que hice fue añadir cierto patrón con mi pincel de agua y cree un buen efecto ondulado en toda la tela del vestido. Para el pintado de las cadenas decidí usar muchos tonos amarillos para representar que las cadenas están hechas de oro puro altamente resistente, con un pincel pequeño fui dándoles poco a poco la forma a los eslabones de la cadena tomándome mi tiempo para que la cadena quedara lo mejor posible; posteriormente cree 2 capas adicionales, en una hice unas cuantas sombras en la parte interna de las cadenas, y en la otra cree doble trazo de brillos los cuales le diesen a las cadenas ese realismo que yo deseaba.
For the painting of the scenery that complemented my character I chose to create a kind of room or hall of a court in which (Dariellah) is appearing to answer for all his crimes, I decided to create the background with a perspective of the ceiling, as if we were seeing the character from the bottom up; with a wide range of brown tones I created the ceiling of the courthouse with the intention of making it look like a very dark and gloomy place, with my soft brush and airbrush I painted some windows and steps in the background to set the atmosphere much better. Something that occurred to me for the final part was to illuminate a little the eyes of the character, for this I first created a layer in shine mode and with the red color and my cloud brush I was illuminating both eyes and creating a small effect of movement.
Para el pintado del escenario que complementara a mi personaje opte por crear una especie de sala o salón de un juzgado en el cual (Dariellah) se esta presentando para responder por todos sus crímenes, decidí crear el fondo con una perspectiva del techo, como si estuviésemos viendo al personaje de abajo hacia arriba; con una amplia gama de tonos marrones fui creando el techo del juzgado con la intensión de que este se viese como un sitio sumamente lúgubre y oscuro, con mi pincel suave y aerógrafo fui pintando algunos ventanales y escalones en la parte del fondo para ambientar mucho mejor todo. Algo que se me ocurrió para la parte final fue iluminar un poco los ojos del personaje, para esto primero cree una capa en modo shine y con el color rojo y mi pincel de nubes fui iluminando ambos ojos y creando un pequeño efecto de movimiento.
