Hello friends, this time I am back with a drawing of one of the most powerful and cruel villains in the world of comics and especially DC comics: Darkseid. This character has always been a recurring villain and staunch enemy of the Justice League, he has been defeated many times but he has also defeated the Justice League, especially Superman. In Zack Snyder's version we could see this character with a great appearance, an intimidating, terrifying and difficult to defeat villain. I really liked its design so I made a drawing based on the Snyder movie. I hope you like it.
Hola amigos, esta vez vuelvo von un dibujo de uno de los villanos mas poderosos y crueles del mundo de los comics y en especial de DC comics: Darkseid. Este personaje siempre ha sido un villano recurrente y enemigo acérrimo de la liga de la Justicia, ha sido derrotado muchas veces pero el también ha derrotado a la liga dela justicia en especial a Superman. En la version de Zack Snyder pudimos ver a este personaje con una gran aparición, un villano intimidante, aterrador y dificil de vencer. Me gustó mucho su diseño así que he realizado un dibujo basandome en la película de Snyder. Espero les guste.
For this drawing I used these school colored pencils from the faber castell brand, they are very good, despite having a hard tip, their colors are very vivid and versatile. On a gray paper we draw the silhouette of Darkaseid with a light pencil, we draw the skin that looks like a crocodile so it has relief. For that we will use light colors to accentuate the direction from which the light comes.
Para este dibujo utilicé estos lápices de colores escolares de la marca faber castell, son muy buenos, a pesar de tener lapunta dura sus colores son muy vivos y versátiles. En un papel gris dibujamos la silueta de Darkaseid con un lápiz claro, dibujamos la piel que se parece a la de un cocodrilo asi que tiene relieve. Para eso utilizaremos los colores claros para acentuar la dirección de donde proviene la luz.
The next step is to outline the entire face of Darkseid, painting most of the face with a gray base color without forgetting the protector that covers his jaw.
el siguiente paso es deliniear todo el rostro de Darkseid, pintando la mayor parte de la cara con un color base gris sin olvidarnos del protector que cubre su mandíbula.
We begin to darken the parts where the shadows go in contrast to the light and we reinforce the expression lines of Darkseid's face well, here we can see how his face is full of anger and ready to use his powers, especially the Omega ray that it reaches everything and destroys it.
Comenzamos a oscurecer más las partes donde van las sombras en contraste con la luz y reforzamos bien las líneas de expresión del rostro de Darkseid, aquí podemos observar como tiene el rostro lleno de ira y dispuesto a utilizar sus poderes, en especial el rayo Omega que alcanza todo y lo destruye.
Later we began to make part of the chest and shoulders, a part is covered by an armor so we draw those pictures very well so that the shadows and lights are not missing. The base colors are gray and dark brown, we use black only if necessary to better highlight the shadows.
Después comenzamos a hacer parte del pecho y los hombros, una parte está cubierta por una armadura así que dibujamos muy bien esos cuadros para que las sombras y luces no falten. Los colores bases son gris y marron oscuro, utilizamos el negro solo si es necesario para remarcar mejor las sombras.
To finish we paint the other shoulder of Darkaseid in the same way once we have finished, we start again from the beginning and apply the same technique, in this way we improve the lines of expression, the shadows and the lights and thus we see what could be missing. With a soft brush we can blur the colors to achieve a better finish and a realistic effect.
Para finalizar pintamos el otro hombro de Darkaseid de la misma forma una vez hayamos terminado, comenzamos nuevamente desde el principio y aplicamos la misma técnica, de esta forma mejoramos las lineas de expresión, las sombras y las luces y así vemos que podría faltar. Con un pincel suave podemos difuminar los colores para lograr un mejor acabado y un efecto realista.
This is how this drawing of Darkseid has been, we can see at the end how to do all the work for the second time, step by step we achieve better results. We must not stay only with the first result, we must always go for more until we achieve effects that we did not imagine.
