"The secret of freedom"

Hola comunidad, poco a poco retomando el ritmo a los dibujos, hoy les voy a mostrar este ultimo que hice llamado “The secreto f freedoom” Este trabajo tardo días en ser terminado, incluso una noche sin dormir, estaba obsesionada con terminarlo por ver si en realidad quedaba como me lo imagine, aunque el boceto inicial tenía algunas diferencias, durante el camino de este largo proceso, mi mente ajusto las cosas que no me gustaban tanto para este dibujo y al final fui agregando los nuevos detalles que quería ver reflejados en esta ilustración.

Hello community, little by little returning to the rhythm of the drawings, today I am going to show you this last one that I made called "The secret of freedom"
This work took days to be finished, even a sleepless night, I was obsessed with finishing it to see if it actually turned out how I imagined it, although the initial sketch had some differences, along the way of this long process, my mind adjusted things that I did not like so much for this drawing and in the end I was adding the new details that I wanted to see reflected in this illustration.

Proceso/Process

Después de hacer el boceto y darme cuenta que algunos elementos que coloque no me convencían del todo, decidí solo colocar los colores base que usaría en el rostro para guiarme y seguir pintando como quisiese, después de agregar todos los tonos claros, medios y oscuros comencé a dar mas forma, añadiendo mas claridad en el rostro y usando un pincel con textura y opacidad baja para mezclar cada color y así unificarlos mejor. Todo el primer paso fue en el rostro, variando de pinceles y opacidad, para lograr una piel lisa y algo realista.

After making the sketch and realizing that some elements that I placed did not convince me at all, I decided to only place the base colors that I would use on the face to guide me and continue painting as I wanted, after adding all the light, medium and dark tones I started to give more shape, adding more clarity to the face and using a brush with texture and low opacity to mix each color and thus better unify them.
All the first step was on the face, varying brushes and opacity, to achieve smooth and somewhat realistic skin.

Luego me ocupe de su cuello, dándole igualmente los mismos retoques que en el rostro, buscando la forma adecuada donde este se viese mas real, pinte sus cejas con dos pinceles, con uno hice pelo por pelo y con otro termine de rellenar, este ultimo pincel es uno que simula cabello, dando poca presión pude hacer que las cejas se viesen con mas volumen, dibuje unos pequeños rastros de sangre bajando desde su frente, me parecía muy lindo ese toque de rojo en esta ilustración desaturada, para su cabello elegi un tono verde aqua, de este mismo color elegí en la paleta los claros y oscuros para darle forma al cabello, lo fui pintando poco a poco con ondas para que tuviese un look mas elegante y hermoso.

Then I took care of his neck, giving him the same touch-ups as in the face, looking for the right way where it would look more real, I painted his eyebrows with two brushes, with one I did hair by hair and with another I finished filling, this last brush is one that simulates hair, giving little pressure I was able to make the eyebrows look more voluminous, I drew some small traces of blood coming down from his forehead, I thought that touch of red in this desaturated illustration was very nice, for his hair I chose a aqua green tone, of this same color I chose in the palette the light and dark ones to shape the hair, I painted it little by little with waves so that it had a more elegant and beautiful look.

Pinte su blusa negra, agregando algunos pequeños detalles con gris claro. Continue con el fondo, quería un fondo neutro para que la protagonista no se viese opacada por tanta información detrás, pero me costó muchísimo elegir el tono que quería para ese fondo, así que luego de una hora me sentí satisfecha colocando un gradiente con un tono verde oliva, dibuje algunas mariposas alrededor de ella, estas mariposas fueron bastante difíciles, les di detalle y algunas de ellas las copie y pegue para no volver a pintarlas.

Paint her blouse black, adding some small details with light gray. Continue with the background, I wanted a neutral background so that the protagonist would not be overshadowed by so much information behind it, but it was very difficult for me to choose the tone I wanted for that background, so after an hour I felt satisfied by placing a gradient with a olive green, I drew some butterflies around it, these butterflies were quite difficult, I gave them detail and some of them I copied and pasted so as not to repaint them.

Se me ocurrió abrir su cuello usando un tono marrón bastante oscuro y hacer que de ese pequeño agujero salieran algunas mariposas, finalmente di algunos retoques de luz y color para que mi obra tuviese ese aspecto mas “antiguo” que me parecía espectacular.

It occurred to me to open its neck using a fairly dark brown tone and make some butterflies come out of that small hole, finally I did some touch-ups of light and color so that my work had that more "old" look that seemed spectacular to me.

Y ese fue todo el proceso para llegar a el resultado final, un resumen de esos 5 días que estuve dibujando por las noches obsesionada por terminar esto jaja, espero que les haya gustado tanto el proceso, la explicación y el resultado final. ¡Gracias!
