Rose explosion

Feliz inicio de semana amigos. En el dia de hoy me ha pasado algo que no es muy común, pues tenia ganas de dibujar algo colorido, con una chica rubia que normalmente no suelo hacer jaja, me gusta mas el cabello oscuro pero quería probar algo diferente hoy, se me ocurrió hacer un retrato simple y en medida de que iba desarrollando el dibujo se me estaban ocurriendo algunas ideas para hacer de este retrato algo muy colorido, quise utilizar rosas y algunos pétalos pegados al rostro, con una paleta de colores rosas y un fondo claro, la verdad me sentí algo extraña haciendo todo esto pero me gusto el contraste de colores que logre, espero que también les guste.

Today something that is not very common happened to me, because I wanted to draw something colorful, with a blonde girl that I don't usually do haha, I like dark hair more but I wanted to try something different today, it occurred to me to make a simple portrait and as the drawing was developing I was coming up with some ideas to make this portrait something very colorful, I wanted to use roses and some petals attached to the face, with a palette of pink colors and a light background, the I really felt a bit strange doing all this but I liked the contrast of colors that I achieved, I hope you like it too.

Proceso/Process

Comencé realizando el boceto como les comente, hice un boceto simple sin muchos detalles ya que aun no tenia idea de que hacer, elegí una paleta de tonos piel clara y comencé a pintar el rostro, depositando los colores sin mucho cuidado y dándole mas detalles en nuevas capas donde fui definiendo mucho mejor las facciones del rostro, para el cabello utilice un tono beige de base.

I started making the sketch as I told you, I made a simple sketch without many details since I still had no idea what to do, I chose a palette of light skin tones and I began to paint the face, depositing the colors without much care and giving it more details in new layers where I was defining the features of the face much better, for the hair I used a beige base tone.

Agregue mas detalles al rostro y cabello, creando algunos reflejos de luz y sombra en el cabello para darle mas naturalidad, senti que necesitaba un poco mas de color el rostro asi que intensifique algunas partes y pinte esta especie de rubor en las mejillas, para este punto ya estaba pensando en flores, asi que probe dibujar algunas rosas en el cabello y luego se me ocurrió llenar de pétalos parte de la cara.

Add more details to the face and hair, creating some reflections of light and shadow on the hair to give it more naturalness, I felt that the face needed a little more color so I intensified some parts and painted this kind of blush on the cheeks, for this period I was already thinking about flowers, so I tried to draw some roses in the hair and then it occurred to me to fill part of the face with petals.

Descubrí un pincel con una textura muy curiosa en mi Photoshop, lo probe y me gusto para decorar el fondo, asi que comencé a sustraer tonos de las rosas y del cuerpo para crear esta especies de manchas detrás y también algunas por encima de las rosas para dar un efecto de desvanecimiento a las rosas, con un ajuste de color, le di una tonalidad mas rosa a la imagen, me gustaba un poco mas asi además de ajustar un poco la saturacion.

I discovered a brush with a very curious texture in my Photoshop, I tried it and I liked it to decorate the background, so I started subtracting tones from the roses and from the body to create these kinds of spots behind and also some on top of the roses to give a fading effect to the roses, with a color adjustment, I gave the image a more pink hue, I liked it a little more like that, in addition to adjusting the saturation a little.
