Purple dream

Feliz dia comunidad de Sketchbook, hoy quiero compartir con ustedes este dibujo, es el ultimo que realice recientemente usando mi color favorito, probablemente vean muchos tonos fríos en mis ilustraciones pero creo que es algo que me identifica la mayoría del tiempo, estos colores me llenan de mucha tranquilidad y me ayudan a trabajar mucho mejor, esta vez quise utilizar el morado y azul para crear un lindo retrato, siempre quise hacer una cabellera excesivamente larga y abundante y decidí hacerlo hoy, siento que el cabello es el protagonista en este dibujo, al menos para mi, me gusto muchísimo como quedo, esta vez trabaje con un poco de realismo en los ojos y el rostro lo hice un poco menos detallado, espero que les guste.

Happy day Sketchbook community, today I want to share with you this drawing, it is the last one I did recently using my favorite color, you probably see many cold tones in my illustrations but I think it is something that identifies me most of the time, these colors fill me up very calm and it help me work much better, this time I wanted to use purple and blue to create a nice portrait, I always wanted to make excessively long and abundant hair and I decided to do it today, I feel that the hair is the protagonist in this drawing, At least for me, I really liked how it turned out, this time I worked with a bit of realism in the eyes and I made the face a little less detailed, I hope you like it.

Proceso/Process

Realice mi boceto y elegí la paleta de colores entre ellos, tonos lilas, morados, rosas y blanco, comencé a rellenar de a poco el rostro usando un pincel difuso y agregando colores base sin mucho cuidado sobre algunas zonas, luego de delimitar las luces y sombras, comencé a dar mas detalles y variantes de los tonos en una nueva capa, creando mas colores para formar la estructura del rostro, en otra capa coloque el color del cabello, un color morado oscuro de base.

I made my sketch and I chose the color palette among them, lilac, purple, pink and white tones, I began to fill in the face little by little using a diffuse brush and adding base colors without much care in some areas, after delimiting the lights and shadows, I began to give more details and variations of the tones in a new layer, creating more colors to form the structure of the face, in another layer I placed the hair color, a dark purple base color.

Suavice los tonos del rostro, dándole asi forma y suavidad, luego comencé a darle forma al cabello variando entre tonos morados claros y oscuros y creando ondas en el pelo, para el fondo elegí un azul oscuro el cual después combine con azul claro creando un degradado circular en el centro, luego pinte unas pequeñas flores rosa pálido en el cabello, se me ocurrió la idea de hacer que uno de los ojos pareciese que se derrite, asi que pinte con los mismos tonos del ojo una especie de lagrima cayendo, finalmente agregue algunos ajuste de color a toda la imagen dándole intensidad al dibujo.

I softened the tones of the face, thus giving it shape and softness, then I began to shape the hair varying between light and dark purple tones and creating waves in the hair, for the background I chose a dark blue which I later combined with light blue creating a gradient circular in the center, then I painted some small pale pink flowers in the hair, I came up with the idea of making one of the eyes look like it was melting, so I painted with the same shades of the eye a kind of teardrop falling, finally I added some color adjustment to the whole image giving intensity to the drawing.
