Imagine an OpenAI Phone to Compete With Apple šŸ˜³

If you thought OpenAI will dominate the world through AI alone well I say think again. Yes, you read the title correctly. OpenAI is now working towards hardware smartphones that'll use all the best tools to create a gadget that could outcompete the other smartphones like iPhones and Samsung.

It was this very same week I heard that Tesla is trying to make their own phones, I really don't know how long that has been out there but all the other tech industries understand what Steve Jobs did. In order for you to create the great tech product, you need to handle both software and Hardware.

OpenAI the current Gurus of AI which of course sooner or later will have to compete seriously with Elon Musk's xAI are now moving to the smartphone niche and I can imagine how they'll pull this off.

I may be wrong but the industry only has to make freely accessible their tools and highest premium versions and that'll entice AI enthusiasts to purchase the smartphones.

Isnā€™t it funny how tech companies these days seem to be following the same script? I was able to notice the similarities between OpenAIā€™s evolution and what Apple did with the iPhone from the very beginning.

Both companies are about creating premium experiences that make you wonder how you ever lived without their latest versions. With the latest versions of Android and iOS operating systems, I'm shocked when I look back and see how we were comfortable with the basic features we had years ago. I guess that's how technology is by nature, it advances and literally creates a new experience of the world for everyone.

Remember when you got your first iPhone and how it looked like, now everything about it which wqs once exciting is outdated.

OpenAI seems to be doing that with AI. Sam Altman, OpenAI's CEO, is now obsessed with quality over quantity again, kind of like Apple and I think that's a great direction they're headed because the better they get at what they do, the more they can assure a future where they're still in business. The reason I say this is that eventually, the AI industry will be saturated with many companies and brands doing the exact same thing and at an affordable price or even free so people will have so many options that the only companies that will remain are those focused on quality and innovation.

Each new release, from GPT-3 to GPT-4, feels like a massive leap forward. Infact they're already talking about GPT 5. Rumors are they're done with it and just working on minor issues before release. I'm thinking it'll be released during the same time Sora gets released.

And just like older iPhones, previous AI models start to fade into the background as soon as a newer, shinier version drops. If you're a Chatgpt user, I bet you barely use got 3.5. everyone is on the 4 version and of course it's still paid but when they release GPT 5, GPT 4o may be free.

Itā€™s a strategy that works because, well, who doesnā€™t want the latest and greatest tech right?

OpenAI has caught the Apple spirit and barely want to release a new model until they have it just perfect.

What Open AI is trying to do in the smartphone industry is not just to make money from that industry but the company sees an opportunity to spread their dominating in the tech industry. The company has realized how AI can be used in all sectors and I trying their best to rule in the future of tech.

I would not be surprised if I hear Open AI is starting to build appliances like TV, Refrigerator, AI conditioning and even cars. Infact they could go as far as building a house and robots in the house because all that I mentioned can be greatly enhanced by AI.

AI is evolving and these companies see it and want to take advantage to dominate the future of technology.
