Hello all friends, how are you? Hopefully everyone is in good health. In this post, I discuss a little about one of my hobbies which might also be a hobby for my friends, namely the hobby of climbing. I hope this will be an answer for those who often ask why so many people enjoy climbing. But this is just a personal answer and does not represent friends who like climbing. Because I realize that each person has their own reasons why they like climbing.
There are various ways a person can enjoy the beauty of nature. But no matter what, the answer remains that nature is a gift from God that provides the most beauty. For me, climbing mountains is a way to enjoy the special beauty of nature. Why I say special is because the natural beauty that I got is impossible for those who have never climbed. Someone who has never climbed can't possibly see the beauty of the clouds that can be seen from the top of a mountain. Someone who has never climbed cannot possibly enjoy the beauty of the sun when it is just rising or when it is about to set.
There are various people we can find when we climb. People who come to climb are people from various regions, various ethnicities and religions and even various social statuses on the climb. They have one thing in common, namely wanting to reach the top of the mountain. This is where we feel that all climbers have the same goal so that a sense of solidarity among climbers will naturally form. Some even say that if you want to see someone's personality, take them to climb a mountain. I often meet people while climbing and they really care about each other even though they have just met. Familiarity and a sense of brotherhood are formed when we climb.
One can learn from experience. There are various experiences that we can encounter when climbing, regardless of whether they are pleasant or unpleasant experiences. Someone who experiences difficulties while climbing will learn to be patient in order to reach the top of the mountain. A person who experiences pleasure while climbing will be a person who is good at being grateful for all the natural gifts given by God.
