An action that is often carried out by a person or group who feels they are stronger or more powerful against individuals who they think have weaknesses or deficiencies. This action often occurs in groups of children and adolescents. Therefore this action becomes the responsibility of all, whether as individuals, parents, teachers or community groups.

There are various types of bullying that can occur in groups of children and adolescents both at school and in the community in the social interactions of children and adolescents. One type of pudding that we often find is bullying verbs, namely the actions of a person or group who feel powerful by insulting, demeaning or ridiculing them with inappropriate words.

This type of verbal bullying does not hurt physically but causes a person's soul or the victim to become depressed. As a result of this type of bullying , victims become gloomy, lose their joy and are passive in communicating with their social environment.

As parents and teachers, of course we don't expect bullying to be experienced by our children because if this happens the person who bullies will feel in power and the victim of bullying becomes a moody child and tends to swear by being closed.
Therefore, let's both parents and teachers or community groups to prevent acts of bullying.

Some of the actions we can take to prevent bullying from happening to our children and youth include:

  1. Provide understanding to children and adolescents that bullying is an act that harms other people and is prohibited both in terms of social ethics and law.

  2. Open lines of communication between children, parents and teachers. In this case, communicate frequently with our children, such as asking who our children hang out with and what their social situation is. Parents should also try once to ask their teacher how their child's character in the association at school.

  3. As parents and teachers we must be good role models. We must be a good example in the family or in society in every word. Speak politely and do not belittle others. Thus our children can imitate good things.

Thank you to all my friends who have stopped by my post this time, I hope this is useful for creating generations that can respect each other and others.
