I have been blogging on HIVE for some time now. I make sure to post atleast twice a day. This forces me to be more productive with my time. And it also helps me make my account healthy as I get something out on the community to interact with. I also make sure to schedule the content before posting.
Why bloggers need to schedule and why system is required?
There are many reasons why you should schedule. At the end of the day we have limited time and so scheduling is necessary. You should also establish the system in the blogging, this way you would realize what type of the content to post and what to accept.

Schedule
I make sure to have something to post each day. And I make sure to post it every day at some specific time interval. And I make sure to also post a longer duration between the posts. That helps a lot in terms of the content making and also helps me in understanding when to post.
System
Having systems in place for creating content and then distributing across multiple platforms helps too. I mostly post on readcash, noisecash and HIVE. So I make sure to post similar content only on noisecash and readcash. But HIVE is unique and I make sure to have system in place where I can keep specific content on each platform.
Having a flow for the schedule and also having some system in content development and the distribution definitely helps a lot too.
Conclusion
Having schedule for posting the content would force you to have a good habit of writing. You should also have system on goals and the execution. This is something takes time to establish but for me it is working out.
