The world is in chaos lots of challenges rising every day people are going into different bad acts all in the name of making a living. Surviving has become so difficult to the extent that some don't have shelter, and no source of income to cater for themselves not to talk to their families, they feed on anything they see and live from hand to mouth. Due to all these rising problems many people out there are into stealing, kidnapping, abduction, and prostitution just to make ends meet while some go into all these shady acts because they are lazy and don't want to work rather they want a shortcut to success. Although some are genuinely in penury and have no hope whatsoever such people are experiencing the other side of life. Whenever they see people in affluence (wealth) they start to wonder what part of the planet earth they are living in and start to question God on how their lives turned out the way it is. After they have listened to different advice from different people they result in different evil acts mentioned above just to fit into the world of affluence and dine with the wealthy men and women in the society.
In this part of the world especially here in Nigeria, families expect you to respond to them whenever they call upon you for help especially financial assistance without knowing whether or not you are at liberty to give and if you didn't respond the way they want they tagged you with the name stingy not knowing what such individual is going through. Families are not the only one included in this even friends and colleagues at work tends to expect something from you and want you to respond immediately which is sometimes not possible due to one or two obstacles but once you decline their request you become their enemy.
Making money is an individual race and getting rich is an individual race we need to find ways of living a righteous life individually and earn a living individually without relying on anyone. Many people are worse to the point that once they have someone in the family who is financially dependent they won't work anymore they depend on such individuals for survival. You don't have to pick an offense if you requested help and they couldn't render it that instant we all have our crosses to carry.
My father was enlightening me this morning about friendship and relationships and he said " what is the essence or importance of keeping friends that are not productive"? They will ruin your ways of thinking positively because once they didn't achieve anything good in life they wouldn't want you to move forward too. The best remedy is to work hard and harder individually to live a worthy life and maintain the right track so as not to end up in a mess that can cost one's life. In this present generation, you can't afford to live a worthless life. An impactful life is all you need to make a mark on earth.
Do not hate anyone for not helping you when you needed their help, everyone has one or two things going on in their lives instead of being independent find a legit way to live a great life and that is the antidote to the chaotic situation we are in now.
You must not be a burden to any family member just because you know they are capable of carrying out your responsibilities, be independent, be a boss of your own don't rely on anybody to be successful.
