Hello world and fellow cryptobuddies,
First i want to introduce myself to the community of Gods Unchained. My nickname is lofone ( funfact:both online and IRL),24 years old and I am currently studying Ecology and one of my passions since I was a child was to play Card games. I've been playing Hearthstone for years reaching Legend rank several times but I am a more casual player than a tryhard! So I prefer to enjoy a game than always play the meta decks! I have tried a lot of other mainstream Card games BUT in the last two months a friend of mine introduce me to Crypto -games (Thanks @mpoukovo ). In the beggining I joined in the hive-blockchain games such as Rising star and Splinterlands (you are welcome to check my profile and learn a little bit more about them!) A week ago I learned about GU from the discord server of @ocdb and I was very excited to join the game and research more about the battles and the economics behind it! In conclusion I'm glad I did that!
Let's take it from the start guys, this game is basically a card game that is based on the play-to-earn model. You can join for Free and have a chance to earn NFT Cards that have real value! As you continue you will be able to earn GODS tokens that you can use as a payment in the game and if you like you can trade those tokens for real-world money to put it simply! The reason i love all those games is that your grind pays of both in your virtual and actual wallet! And the rewards you are going to take depend only on your Skill and the time you are willing to invest for hustling! To those who are sceptical about the game's legitimacy we have to say that this project is backed up by Galaxy Digital and Coinbase and the development team building the game consists of former employees of Riot Games ! So we are ready to be amazed and we will jump right in action!
Before i give you my full perspective about the game i would like to tell you that i have played the game for a couple of days so as the time pass i have a better view on what is happening exactly from all prepespectives! I have to say that the game doesn't seemed to have high competition in the lower ranks i managed in a couple of days of grinding to achieve the MIDNIGHT SHADOW rank only with the basic cards or cards that i opened from the free packs! As you saw from the thumbnail i mainly played the God of Nature and a little bit the God of War. One thing that you have to know in order to scale efficiently in Ranks is knowing how to do value trades. I noticed that many opponents didn't do value trades or trades at all, they chose to focus on damaging my hero and that was the reason i managed to take the board easily and win most of my games! I found very intresting cards in the game and i think that the game has huge potential!
