Do you want to get to mythic, but only have $20? Look no further - THIS is the deck you NEED!

Only $20 for a Mythic-level War deck - TENDERIZER

My previous posts have featured decks that are a bit too expensive for a casual player that just wants to jump in and play without too much investment.

I have decided to make a series of posts featuring beginner-friendly decks that actually perform well enough to get you to Mythic rank and keep you there.

This budget deck is created by [Toxic]TBH

He's a very strong mythic player that streams on www.twitch.tv/tbhansson. I recommend you guys to check him out. He told me that he will be playing cheap/beginners deck in the coming week. So make sure to drop by his twitch channel and tell him i sent you ;)

The deck only costs 0.0047 ethereum (roughly $20 with todays prices)

This deck is similar to my other guides, as it features a creature-heavy war deck with the slayer godpower.

The idea behind this deck is to;

  • Play minions with strong value
  • Take favourable trades or push for god damage if you can't take value trades
  • Press the Slayer hero power as much as possible (if you are out of cards or the mana fits)
  • The deck has leech - so you survive until you can drop Tenderizer
  • When you get to 7 mana, you want to drop Tenderizer and DEMOLISH your opponents face as seen below:

Mulligan

You want to mulligan for the Enduring Shield, as always, since this is a very strong card to open up with the mana pip. Ideally, you would want to start your turn with a 2-drop minion + enduring shield/Blade of Styx.
Avoid starting with two weapons in hand, if possible.

The optimal start would be
  • If going first: Skeleton heavy + Enduring Shield + Raid Reveller
  • If going second: Tavern brawler + Enduring Shield + Raid Reveller

Good luck on your way to Mythic!
Let me know how this deck performs for you.
