Eu tenho muitas fotos de skate feitas pelo Júlio Tio Verde e pretendo postar todas aqui. Temos uma ligação muito forte por conta de gostarmos de rock and roll, morarmos na zona norte e, principalmente, sermos pessoas proativas (e hiperativas) na cena do skate no Rio de Janeiro.
Esse dia foi perto do meu aniversário em 2017, eu acho. Marcamos nessa praça, chamada Praça Niterói, tipo na hora do almoço, um sol do caralho. Na época existia esse polejam desmontável que o Marcelo Marbal tinha deixado pela Praça XV e eu passei por lá antes para pegá-lo, fazer a foto e depois devolvê-lo. A ideia inicial era a foto do polejam passando pela escada e calçada e caindo direto na rua. Porém nossa hiperatividade mútua não nos permitiu ficarmos só nisso e Tio Verde botou pilha para que eu tentasse um ollie por cima do canteiro. e não é que rolou?
Depois disso foi partir pro boteco mais próximo no Grajaú, comer uns petisquinhos e tomar uma cerva geladassa e comemorar meu aniversário e a sessão de fotos realizada com sucesso.

I have many skateboarding photos taken by Julio Tio Verde, and I plan to post them all here. We have a strong connection due to our shared love for rock and roll, living in the northern zone, and, most importantly, being proactive (and hyperactive) individuals in the skateboarding scene in Rio de Janeiro.
This day was close to my birthday in 2017, I think. We arranged to meet at this square called Praça Niterói, around lunchtime, under scorching sun. At that time, there was this portable pole jam that Marcelo Marbal had left around Praça XV, and I swung by there earlier to pick it up, take the photo, and then return it. The initial idea was to capture the pole jam extending over the stairs and sidewalk and dropping straight into the street. However, our mutual hyperactivity didn't allow us to settle for just that, and Tio Verde encouraged me to attempt an ollie over the planter. And what do you know? It worked!
After that, it was off to the nearest bar in Grajaú, grabbing some snacks, having a super cold beer, and celebrating my birthday and the successfully executed photo session.
